  1. lolbama says:

gee…. McCain is old? Who knew?

Given that Obama is still wearin’ his paper Trainee hat, I don’t think that that is gonna be a negative…

  2. GomerPhyls says:

Considering that McCain doesn’t even know how to use a computer (admittedly), I think it’s pretty important for one of the world’s leading countries in technology to broadcast the fact that he might as well be a dinosaur…
I’d rather have a guy who, as his campaign has demonstrated, is probably the most tech-savvy Presidential nominee ever, but is a little green under the Congressional belt, then a guy who thinks Googling is something you do at your wife.

    • GomerPhyls says:

    • ema says:

I would rather have a man for a president who would rather go and speak to our US generals in Iraq about what is going on over there and get the info first hand than one who is hot to go and talk to all the ruthless insane dictators in the world first to find out if we are offending them or not…

    • CGS says:

So…being able to surf the web makes one who isn’t as “tech-savvy” more qualified to lead the world’s most powerful nation? Sorry, I’ll take someone who actually has some real world experience in political matters over someone who is “a little green under the Congressional belt (read: first term Senator, campaigning for President for almost since taking office)” any day.

And by the way, it’s “THAN a guy,” not “THEN a guy.”

I still can’t seem to find near as many LOLs makin fun of Obama as there are ones making fun of McCain ? Censorship? Or are they afraid of somthing? Can’t he handle it?
    Iguess not…

  4. Jamie says:

Yea, isn’t the year like 1 or something.

  5. Duke says:

Boner alert! McCain has a monster in his pants! :O!

  6. mica says:

very true. Elders no longer recieve the reverence or respect that they used to.
    it’s downright dissapointing, and sad.

i would like to think that this world would be a better place if we had more respet to ourselves, others, and our surroundings.

It’s not what it used to be, thats for sure.

  7. lowly grunt says:

Strange, I don’t recall this website being a mouthpiece for the DNC or the RNC. Have I missed something?

  8. gretel says:

Being vocal about McCain’s age is not a function of ageism for its own sake; it’s that old age happens to be connected to a lot of things a nation may not want in its leader–health concerns, dementia, a tendency to cling to long-entrenched way of thinking. I’m not accusing McCain of having those problems (not here anyway), but they are legitimate issues.

And if anyone is allowed to indict Obama over issues of supposed inexperience or youth, well, what’s good for the goose…

Finally, get over it. The GOP has, does, and will use any dirty trick in the book to smear the opposition and elect their candidate. The argument that digging back a bit is unfair, is absurd and completely laughable.

  9. Rawr says:

What’s wrong with him using Cialis? Its a win for him! I mean, he has a hot wife.

  10. Ronnie says:

I have a quote for all the people who said that ‘elders don’t recieve the respect, etc. that they used to’.

The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for
authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place
of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their
households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They
contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties
at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.

That is attributed to Socrates. Around 400BC.

    Does anything change?
