  1. 3ntropy says:

A truly formidable team. Go McCain!

    • fillerbunny says:

If by “formidable” you are talking about penchant for cronyism, doublespeak and lack of conviction, then you are correct. Otherwise, Reality FAIL.

    • Choclet pi says:

      Heh heh, your funny.

    • meme says:

McCain sucks. Do you even UNDERSTAND this?! He’ll be Bush all over again!

      • lolbama says:

geez… do you believe EVERY talking point that’s fed to you?

      • KJ says:

Are you joking? Maybe you should actually read some stuff instead of just regurgitating what you hear other people say. McCain, as anyone who knows anything about either his or Bush’s, or the running democrat’s policies will tell you, is far mroe liberal than Bush. They have very little in common in terms of there beliefs. Most conservatives dislike McCain because of this.

Keep the ignorance up, people! I can clearly see that the same folks who spend hours on pages like lolcats (which i totally do, im not knocking ya for that) are the same people who get their ‘news’ from mainstream, corporate owned media.

SOrry, im done now. back to teh kittehs

  2. Fair Witness says:

    Don’t you mean… GRATE?

    Or GRATING?

Perhaps REPULSIVE? Easy typos, its understandable.

  3. The Rev. says:

John McCain is truly an amazing mutant. All the failed policies of George W. Bush with all the flip-fop style of John Kerry, and none of the integrity or charisma of either.

John McSame. W’s own call for “Four More Years” personified.

    • KJ says:

“failed policy”.. look into that. Its a knee jerk term thrown around by ignorant liberals when they don’t like the facts.

More policies that were instated by the congress have failed then by the president.

Um.. while you bash failed policies, have you ever considered that washington is currently run by dems?

  4. Nekopawed says:

McCain: Did he wash his hand? Oh god I hope he washed his hand…please please please god did he wash his hand?

Bush: hehe…I didn’t wash my hand.

    God: *facepalm*

    • I fail. SO bad. says:

^ Funny, but odd. “Dubya” as he has come to be known, had protected our country for 8 years. Obama….. just look at the debt and economy…

  5. Ryan says:

The kind of funny thing is that Pres. Clinton hurt Al gore in campaigning, it helped get bush elected, and now Bush is hurting McCain. Sen. Obama will hurt some other dem in 2016. I’m calling it.

    • Herr Kub says:

Make that 2012. Obama looks like the next Jimmy Carter in the making. Great man, great ideas, EPIC FAIL once in office.

      • Choclet pi says:

Uh, Why was Jimmy Carter a fail? He was a peaceful highly competent president. If Jimmy Carter was still in office we wouldnt have had the Iraq war. We probably wouldnt have had 9/11 either.

        • ema says:

Yea, we would probably be under sharia law already if he was still president.

          • fillerbunny says:

you do realize we have three, co-equal branches of government, yeah? Well, at least we did up until January 2001…

        • rediede says:

Jimmy Carter wanted to please everyone. You can’t do that. He was thrust into office during an unfavorable time (economy was sour and the presidency was looked down upon more than any other time in history), which pretty much doomed whoever won the 1976 election to being unpopular and serving only one term regardless of party.

Foreign policy wise, he was great. Diplomatic, willing to listen to the other side WHILE standing his ground solidly (as in not compromising too much). Domestic policy wise, not so much. The OPEC (that is both foreign and domestic) embargo and the economic consequences were not handled very well. He had the right idea though (to paraphrase: if your house is cold, put on a sweater and stop relying on oil to heat your house and that the country was obsessed with material goods), but then, I believe govt intervention in the economy generally doesn’t work anyway.

          • lolbama says:

meh. Other than Camp David, Carter’s foreign policy was a complete bust. Some people like his talkiness in the abstract, but in terms of results it was a failure.

        • 3ntropy says:

every president was hated during his presidency (hey, that’s an amazing case of no sexism in a sentence!). afterwards, tools like clinton were touted as miracle workers and humanitarians. and when i say every president, i mean some of them.

        • Tom says:

If by competant you mean failed foreign policies that lead to the hosatage crisis in Iran. And failed domestic policies that paved the way for financial disaster that was only prevented by Reagan taking over. Then yes he was really competant. If Jimmy Carter were still presidant there would not have been a 911 because Osama would have owned the World Trade Center and we’d all be wearing rags on our heads and be speaking arabic.

  6. Roguim says:

Well at least McCain has Brain.

    • fillerbunny says:

We need a team of experts to Pundit Expert to verify this claim STAT! Evidence so far seems to indicate puppetry and regurgitation, possibly involving conflicting individuals… Further, evidence of parasitic infestation by PhilGrammSpeculativeMarketCrasher detected…

      • Blarg says:

“Evidence so far seems to indicate puppetry and regurgitation, possibly involving conflicting individuals…”

Once again, people say that like the other side isn’t doing the same thing. It’s politics, don’t you EXPECT everyone to be lying at this point? Because they all are.

    • fillerbunny says:

I appreciate that you acknowledge the hypocrisy enough to put liberating in quotes.

    • Evil Pundit says:

Considering that Obama makes a stupid mistake every time he opens his mouth without a teleprompter, McCain is the only candidate with brain.

    • lolbama says:

      well….. Obama talk real goodly!

  7. Dani says:

    Same taste of PLEH!!!!!

  8. Blarg says:

Senator Obama = New Look + Becoming Same Great Taste!

And by same great I mean same Washington!

    Hope for change = fail

  9. Steve says:

Kind of seems that we could write the same for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. All of the things they promised when they “changed the face of Congress”, and they have done nothing. New faces. Same crappy legislators in Washington.

    • ema says:

Actually things have gotten progressively worse since Dems won majority in congress. Thanks for the “change”! I think I may still have a little left… jingle jingle…

      • rediede says:

That happens regardless of the party that controls Congress.

Ever since the 22nd Amendment was passed (limits pres to 2 terms), a president’s second term has never been as successful as the first was. The last two years of a president’s second term are the worst, as the public generally does not like the president and is ready for a new face and Congress sets out pretty much to be the anti-President, regardless of how much sense the pres’s proposals do or do not make.

This is a common occurance for many presidents. Reagan, Clinton and GW Bush are examples.

        • Jane says:

Let’s also not forget that if Congress wanted to get too crazy and actually make great changes Bush would just veto anything he didn’t like and Democrats don’t have the two-thirds majority needed to overthrow a veto. Their hands are tied somewhat, yes they have the majority but not really enough to do anything with it.

      • Steve says:

I hear ya ema, I hear ya.

  10. TG says:

So I hear all these people say what an Idiot George Bush is… well if he is such an idiot how did he beat Gore and Kerry? People say that McCain is more of the same… well then we should expect to see him in the White House next year?

  11. dumza says:

well bush just is awful and if i go any father about him ill prombly barf any OBAMA FOR LIFE anyway lol

    • Lex says:

Hey dumza, nice that you’re supporting Obama and all but here’s the thing… You’re sort of hurting our cause here. Please embrace a little literacy and you can keep on posting. Not a lot, you know, throw some puncuation in occasionally, you’ll like it, swear.

  12. Anthony says:

Also, at TG, politicans have people and they have talking points. They also have plenty of dirt on the other politicans. The smartest man doesn’t always win. I don’t care how many elections Bush wins, he still can’t form 3 correct sentences in a row. That says stupid to me, yes. Oh, by the way – “Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dreams!”

  13. StraightEdgePunk123 says:

I can’t help but think of the new Coke disaster…

  14. 3ntropy says:

washington can’t be changed; therefor, obama has failed more than any other candidate by promising it. i would rather stick with what i’m used to.

  15. PloCoon says:

Bush and McCain were at each other’s throats in 2000. They are way different.

For the record, this country didn’t start REALLY going down the tubes until 2006. Gas has skyrocketed over $1.50/gal higher, and what has the Democratic majority done? Raise their own paychecks, raise the gas tax, and tried to implement MORE gas taxes!

And Bush isn’t all bad. We DID find over 500 chemical weapons in Iraq since 2003, we DID take out the Husseins (if you don’t think they were evil, I question your judgment), and we DID take out several leaders of al Qaeda (ditto w/ them), including Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Yes, we HAVE tied or exceeded our involvement in WWII and sustained over 4k deaths, but compare that to WWII. We got that many deaths in a major land battle in the first week or so. If the events of the 40s happened now, Bush would’ve been assassinated already and we’d all have German and Japanese as our first and second languages.

  16. Jon166 says:

    Awesome! ^^

  17. Jon166 says:

Also, does diet mean they take out the unavoidable disasters? I hope so. ._.

  18. It’s Bush! It’s McCain! No it’s McBush!

    Same failed policies either way~

  19. trusts says:

    same picture, though.

  20. Phutnik says:

Definitely not as good as Pepsi.
