    Oh, VERY nice…

  2. Nekopawed says:

And the person with license plate 555-XYZ your lights are on…

  3. Jane says:

    ZOMG!!!!1!! Kunspirocee!!!!11!!!1!

  4. cpt obvious says:

Sure he’s old, but he knows how to win wars. Just like he did in Nam.

    • markmier says:

      WIN

    • Kinson says:

‘Nam. You mean that war the democrats waged?

      • cpt obvious says:

I thought it was a republican who ran away from that one. And Iraq round 1. And has yet to do anything about half a dozen cases of genocide…

      • cpt obvious says:

Besides, how hard is it to know how to win a war. Keep killing folks till their side gives up or there are none left. That’s how they’ve historically been won.

        • Jake says:

Well thank you cpt obvious (always wanted to say that).

        • Kinson says:

It becomes more difficult to get the otherside to give up when you have people in our country dividing us. It gives the enemy the idea that if they hold out long enough we will eventually pull out.

          • cpt obvious says:

Hey, we were divided going in. Besides, we will eventually pull out, one way or another. Iraq isn’t our country, and their people (the Iraqi Security Minister included), are getting sick of the occupation force.

            • Kinson says:

May very well have been, but, we went in. In my opinion it is too late to argue the fact once we are in and fighting. Do you have any more sound bites you want to regurgitate?

              • cpt obvious says:

So, since we screwed up in the first place, we should just continue screwing up to save face? Well that seems reasonable. I hadn’t thought of it that way before.

                • Steve says:

No, but we have a responsibility to leave the situation as good as we can before we leave. Just like we did in Germnay and Japan and, would have, in Vietnam had we not left.

                  • cpt obvious says:

Ah, but WWII ended, and we were actually improving things there. Where are the infrastructure repairs and improvements that were promised years ago. The “green zone” can only count for so much.

                    • Evil Pundit says:

And we are improving things in Iraq, just like we did in WWII.

                      That didn’t happen overnight, either.

                      • hueydoc says:

I seem to recall it was Kennedy and Johnson ( Democrats) who got us into Vietnam, and Nixon ( Republican) who got us OUT of Vietnam, or have the PC police changed the textbooks ?

          • cpt obvious says:

Any more sound bites you’d like to regurgitate?

          • IPG says:

Oh… so I either agree with you or am responsible for a defeat in a war I always opposed. Its always nice to have choices.

Or perhaps we could hold the people who started the mess accountable, apologize and help cleaning up the mess we caused… ideally with the help of some friends who are so much better at this, but currently pissed because we were such jerks?

    • Seth says:

You mean the war that horribly shamed us, showed how weak we were, and the only reason we were able to get out of was because of a cease fire (hardly a win)?

      • Evil Pundit says:

You mean the war that the military was winning, until leftists like you betrayed them?

        • Khaaaaaaaan says:

Support for the war was 70% in 2003 and now stands at 30%. Last year I remember a poll showing 38% of stated Republicans are against continued operations in Iraq. It’s not just the leftists, crotchwaffler.

  5. beth says:

JOHN MCCAIN DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE PRESIDENT. HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THE PLANET OR THE SAGGING ECONOMY. HE’S JUST IN IT BECAUSE HE DOESN’T WANT OBAMA TO WIN.

  6. 3ntropy says:

    *sigh* originality FAIL

  7. Evil Pundit says:

HURR HURR MCAIN IS OLD BUSH IS DUM

  8. flingdecow says:

I thought this caption was OSSUM – I’m glad it got to the homepage! And yes my little Republican friends, McCain *IS* very old, and it’s funny. And people are going to keep making jokes about it until he loses the election. :P

  9. jellybeans says:

You have to admit that 71 is in fact older than the average candidate. I am not sure why everyone gets all hopped up and indignant about old jokes. It’s not like we are calling the guy a terrorist or making racially inappropriate comments about him and his family.

    • Evil Pundit says:

I’m sure the lefties would be getting all hopped up and indignant if people were making jokes about Obama using unpleasant stereotypes about black people.

But they are quite happy to make ageist jokes about McCain. Liberals are hypocrites.

      • jellybeans says:

Half Honkey all Donkey you mean?

uh huh … the picture on the New yorker of the Obamas as terrorists is an excellent example of left wing media conspiracy too right?

      • jellybeans says:

Oh, and “Mama Obama” was really classy too.

Besides, age is relevant. How healthy will he be at 77 or 78 still in office? We had one senile president, lets not saddle ourselves with another.

        • Evil Pundit says:

Ronald Reagan was mocked for being old, but he was one of the greatest presidents of the 20th century.

Another Reagan would be better than another Jimmy Carter.

          • jellybeans says:

            Jimmy Carter the great humanitarian?

Yes, god forbid we get a president that wants to help people instead of killing them

            • Evil Pundit says:

Jimmy Carter the great terrorist enabler. Jimmy Carter, friend of HAMAS and the man responsible for installing Robert Mugabe.

              Worst. President. Ever.

              • jellybeans says:

Life would be sweeter if it had an “ignore function”

                McCain is old.

McCain has the hawts for the Golden Girls … all of them

McCain will probably die in office because he is OLD so hope he doesn’t pick a Quayle

McCain is so old he farts dust.

McCain’s parents have been located … on display in the Smithsonian pre-historic wing.

McCain should be featured on Antiques Roadshow.

McCain couldn’t pull the sword from the stone to be king back in “tha day” so he is trying again

McCain’s wife has had so much surgery she DOES look like the borg queen

                MCCAIN IS OLD, OLD-OLD-OLD-OLD-OLD!
                NOT YOUNG
                OLD.

And yes, Bush is a moron, his daughters are tramps and his wife seems like a very nice lady that made a very bad choice.

                • Evil Pundit says:

Didn’t like hearing the truth about Carter, did you?

                  • jellybeans says:

Truth according to the regurgitated right-wing propaganda soundbites?

I think Jimmy Carter is a great man who has done a lot more for the people of the world than ANY of the republican ex’prezzies can claim to have done

                    • flingdecow says:

                      Agree.

                    • Steve says:

Seriously, Carter has done some great things. What you fail to remember is that EVERY ONE OF THEM happened AFTER he left office. As a president, he failed at everything he tried. EVERYTHING. It was not until he left office that he actually started to get SOME things right. Carter gutted the military at the height of the Cold War. Gutted the CIA at the height of the Cold War. Stood by while Iran was overtaken by Islamic fundaMENTALists. Backed a plan to rescue hostages that failed miserably and led to the deaths of several US Soldiers. (notice I did not say killed US soldiers as you libs would say about Bush). Oversaw an economy that included record inflation (current inflation is nothing compared to it *yet*) and gas lines. Not even the Bush administration has failed so badly.

                  • jellybeans says:

PS – McCain is freakin OLD

                • hueydoc says:

Why are Liberals so mean-spirited and intolerant of those not like them ?

                  • lowly grunt says:

The conservative here are open and warm?
What universe are you living in?
This place is a poo flinging monkey house with some regularity – heh.

          • flingdecow says:

            So wrong.

        • Kinson says:

Your assuming he would run for a second term (and win). You think highly of McCain don’t you?

          • jellybeans says:

Actually, given the track record of the past 8 years, I don’t think highly of McCain … I think “lowly” of a lot of the American Voters. If the old fart gets in once he will likely be grandfathered (heehee … ’cause he is old, get it?) into a second term.

  10. lowly grunt says:

This is great! At least he isn’t reading it off a teleprompter.

    • jellybeans says:

as far away as he has to hold that little card he might be better off with a teleprompter … if the demons in the magic box don’t scare him off.

Burn the Witch!!! … oh wait, that’s his wife.

      • Danny says:

lol. Yeah, did you hear he still has no idea how to use a computer? How does someone do any work without a computer? (I understand how it worked a long time ago, but there is absolutely no reason to do administrative work without a computer, as opposed to a more labor-intensive job.)

    • fillerbunny says:

Yes, because having to constantly reference 3x5s is SOOO much better and definitely more engaging!

      • lowly grunt says:

        I’m surprised.
I was expecting the raving rep crowd to jump on the teleprompter feed. Must not be that hungry today, I guess….

      • Kinson says:

Takes more to be able to do a speech with notes than just reading it off a screen. There isn’t a team of writers standing next to him handing him notes either.

  11. Evil Pundit says:

It’s only democrats who get their lols approved for the front page.

  12. jellybeans says:

Vote for Obama or you hate black people … and puppies. Republicans hate puppies!!!!!

  13. Grace says:

haha, reminds me of ted baxter on mary tylor moore. (yes, i know i can’t spell)
