When do we get Obama 2.0?
With Church Check, Pride Check, Iraq Stance Check and Catholic Priest Check? I am sure there are more and that more will be needed. But that is the kind of functionality his campaign needs.

And Obama’s campaign staff are much more well managed than McCain’s. McCain has had to reshuffled his campaign quite a bit and has a large bit of in fighting. Not that this is a bad thing, changing up staff and how things are run is a good thing. Well, some people will call it flip flopping. But anyone who uses that term is a bit of an ignorant ass.
Only when repubs use the term. I have seen a list of about 60 issues McCain as flipped back and forth on in order to meet the far right. Most of them are a lot bigger and more far reaching than campaign financing too.
I have no problem with people changing their minds. I do have a problem with saying “Iran, Cuba, Venezuela — these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don’t pose a serious threat to us.” on May 19 then turning around and saying “Iran is a great threat” on Jul 9. Which is it??
Obama doesn’t just change his mind. He then erases his previous statements from his website and pretends he didn’t say them.
He also tells lies — such as “that isn’t the Reverend Wright that I knew”.
McCain : good product, bad sales force

Yellowcake also can be enriched for use in reactors and, at higher levels, nuclear weapons using sophisticated equipment.”

In other words, this is the stuff we already knew about, and it is well documented at this point that Iraq never had the technology to make this into a warhead. Yes, dirty bombs could be created, but *knock on wood* they haven’t figured out how to get a conventional bomb over here, much less a radioactive one.

This joke is mostly funny BY COMPARISION to the “old” jokes. The caption has nothing to do with the picture and would have been as connected to pretty much * ANY picture of McCain.

If it’s still funny (which this is), I don’t see why there has to be this rule about the caption refering specifically to something going on in the pic. Seems pedantic.

The explanation for this: The guy espouses the same ideals and policies of the B admin since his magnificent flip-flop of 2006. McCain has a much better grasp on the english language, which is what really makes the joke. As for it not having much to do with what is going on in the picture, I don’t know what the details are of this picture being taken, so no joke there.
I thought referencing ET “I shall heal this country with my index finger” or a children of men “Pull my finger!” would still have been funny, and I love the picard reference above

OK, there’s no way McCain is Bush 2.0. McCain is the most liberal of the Republican Senators; he and Bush butted heads pretty hard in the past.
Obama’s flip-flopped a whole lot as well, not to mention outright lying. For instance, he told South Dakota he was against abortion. Yeah, most liberal senator ever against abortion… right.
As for Carter, he also led us into the biggest recession we’ve ever had. Yes, bigger than this one.
