I went to a water park once that had a continuous wave surfing machine. It was a lot of fun. They are far too expensive, so there aren’t a lot of them.

It would be fun to put down some padding and then a layer of slippery waterproof plastic in the back yard. Then invite over the fire department for some hose practice.

They’d need to use the higher volume, less pressure nozzles to avoid damaging the people sliding.
