It’s also worth noting that the New York Times ran a front-page story accusing McCain of having an affair a couple of months ago. That story went nowhere because, unlike the Enquirer, they had no evidence. The contrast between the treatment of the two stories clearly demonstrates the political bias in so-called ‘respectable’ media.
Does the RNC send you its talking points as well, like they do to Limbaugh and Hannity? Oh, BTW, since it seems to be your deal, you may as well make some extra bucks by astroturfing PK with the McCain talking points, since, just like the PRC, he’s offering to pay people to disseminate his propaganda over the intertube webs… You know, probably with the money some of the lobbyists in his campaign got from Georgia… Or that the bundlers collected from the people who “gave” the maximum donation despite no history of political participation, stated preference in the election, or, you know, finances to do so…. Now that’s there’s irrefutable proof and Edwards is openly admitting everything, of course they are. But the fact is that had they been capable of it, they would have kept covering for him. Heck, Jay Severin broke the story three weeks ago when nobody wanted to talk about it– he was the only one to analyze the proof that the National Enquirer had rather than dismissing the whole thing as a tabloid rumor.
You act as if you’re the one who brought that up. I do believe I mentioned it before you did, so why “by the way?”
Point being that, if you’re going to bag on Edwards for cheating on his wife, you might consider applying that same standard to your nominee.
Edwards himself is a secondary issue.

Okay so there were a bunch of guys who illegally gave more to McCain than is allowed, but wait these were funds coming from Jordanian and Arab contracting sources who were not only skimming profits but have questionable Arab ties. If this were Obama’s campaign it would have been the top headline in every paper “Obama funded by Al Quaeda!”
But scrap that, we should concentrate on the real issues of this campaign, like if someone who’s not even running had an affair two years ago.
If the media were to give Obama’s donations half the scrutiny they give McCain, we’d see some real scandals.
But then, as we’ve seen from the Edwards affair, they cover up for Democrats while they pursue Republicans relentlessly.

Actually the accusations against Obama are well-supported by evidence. He was a friend and close associate of Bill Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist. Obama did attend a racist church for 20 years. Obama did get a cheap property deal from convicted criminal fixer Tony Rezko.

A magistrate today set a $25,000 bond for Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick in connection with two felony assault charges filed by the Michigan Attorney General’s office.
Magistrate Renee McDuffee of the 36th District Court ordered the mayor to post 10% of a $25,000 bond, or $2,500 for release on the new charges. The mayor posted the bond this afternoon and was released.
McDuffee said she could impose conditions only on the case before her, the two assault charges stemming from an altercation with Wayne County law enforcement officers trying to serve a subpoena.
McDuffee ordered Kilpatrick to have no contact with witnesses in the assault case.

I mean, we’re suppose to be creative here, yet no one can think of a single new thing except to unfairly bash Bush for things that are actually the fault of congress. 1)since when did gossip become news? Unless it’s illegal and there is proof I really do not see why anyone should care. Is adultery illegal? In some places it is. But if its not illegal in the states why do you care? and if it is why arent the people who commit adultery ending up in prison?
2) when did politics become real life? I know my country’s politicians are nothing like the real people. I believe the majority would like our politicians locked up for being scum and ripping us all off. Since we can’t do that those of us who do vote vote for the lies that are less offensive to us.
