Does anyone actually know what this picture is of?

    • The Canadian says:

Looks like an Iraqi soldier, which have been given digital camo recently, with an Iraqi cop in a humvee. The cop seems to have been handcuffed so I’m guessing US forces used tear gas for whatever reason and embarked anyone wearing a policemen uniform since there as been various incidents with insurgents wearing police unis.

On another note, I find it quite scary that Americans don’t know what the hell is going on over there.

      • Trainwreck Chaser says:

if our media would inform us of more then just car bombings and death tolls and actual stories of both the good and bad (not made up) maybe we would, but so much stipulation as to what the media feels news is.

        • The Canadian says:

It’s a war, there aren’t any good news, that’s why why you only hear the bad. Thousands of Innocent Iraqis have been killed directly by US forces, hundreds of of thousands indirectly, cause by the invasion. IMO, the American media is actually doing a horrible job at reporting the bad and no one is reporting the ugly.

Soon the grammar police will strike!

          • Trainwreck Chaser says:

I think you need to read a few history books, good things have happened during and after wars. Sorry for wanting to look at the good side even in a bad situation.

          • Bill says:

D-Day and V-Day were bad news? Are yo a neo nazi?

            • Simon says:

D-Day led to far more death, but slightly more on the other side than on ours. V-Day was celebrated because it led to the END of the war. Politicians will try to find honour and glory in war, but that’s easy for them to do when they’d never consider letting their own children enlist.

In the Dark Ages and the Middle Ages, European Kings wouldn’t start wars unless they and their Princes were prepared to lead from the front. I wonder whether George II would have invaded Iraq if he and his daughters had to be on the front line.

              • Joe says:

By my count, the current occupant of the Oval Office is George III.

              • TheLarrikin says:

And daughters would not “be on the front line”.

              • ema says:

In the dark ages king and such were born into it, no one would elect a warrior president. Anyone with strong opinions or convictions would be unelectible. War is sad for everyone but there is honor and glory in war when the good side prevails which was especially obvious in WWII.

      • Lolnathan says:

I stopped giving a rip about what is happening in Iraq once I realized there was nothing I could do about it. There’s no getting accurate information anyway. Hell, look at the body count numbers. If you add up the deaths reported by the media, it adds up to about 80,000. If you use the survey-based statistics where they asked random Iraqis how many people in their household died, it’s more like a million. Beyond the statistics, much of the rest is a matter of opinion. Iraq may be better off because of the invasion in the long term, but there is no way to know that now. Hindsight is 20/20, and contemporary coverage of a war is ALWAYS found out to be ridiculously inaccurate 15-20 years down the road.

  6. LALALA says:

Please, let’s not wait 15-20 to hang the traitors who lied rather than led.

We have enough evidence now; America’s future depends on enforcing our laws and ideals. How can we ever hold any administration accountable if we let this group of traitors get away?

Once Bush is on that ranch in Paraguay he’s safe – Paraguay has no extradition treaty with the USA.

  7. Cellie says:

oooh! a surprise partee! will dere bee kake an dreenks an muffins?

  8. Guess Again says:

I can has my country back?

but seriously – that farm thing is likely to happen, WTF…
