My favorite Invader Zim quote ever:

Zim: Hey, these [waffles] aren’t bad. What’s in ‘em?
      GIR: There’s waffle in ‘em!
      Zim: YOUR LYING!
-From the episode Zim Eats Waffles

    • Trainwreck Chaser says:

Zim: GIR somethings broken and its not your fault?

      GIR: I know, i’m scared too….

  6. Charlie Foxtrot says:

Are you kidding me… feed this man tacos and he’ll be in the can forever, then what do we do… you think that Cheney was bad what kind of damage do you think that his running mate will do? Hell, she probably has a brother-in-law in Canada and she’ll declare war on teh Yukon if they don’t fire him.

    • Chappaquidic says:

Hah! Obama tried to critcise her for lack of eperience…. hmmmm.. that did not go well for him!

      • Charlie Foxtrot says:

Really? I would think that it would play very well, I mean what, exactly does her experience have to do with running the country? Oh, she ran a small town in Alaska, that should help her negotiate with an African military dictator. She can abuse her power, so that might help her compromise some more covert agants and hurt human intelligence collection efforts, so I guess she is a fine GOP VP. Too bad we want a democratic republic.

        • eddiepscetti says:

I think the point being made was that Obama really doesn’t have the experience either, does he? Not that I like Biden one bit, but I would say his experience is much more then Obama.

          • Charlie Foxtrot says:

True, but it doesn’t really matter, does it? A governor has executive experience, but no national legislative or policy experience. A congressman has no executive experience, but plenty of national level governemtn experience. Using this line of logic, we should never fight any wars until after our soldiers have already been in a war, but they can’t get that experience until we go into a war.

            • eddiepscetti says:

Not that I disagree, but it is like the pot calling the kettle black (and seriously, there was NO pun intended.) Now for those words to come from Biden would probably carry alot more weight. That would be the difference.

              • Charlie Foxtrot says:

Ok, so who do you vote for? In my opinion, Obama represents the future, McCain the past. Not just because of age… it is their fundamental approach to the challenges ahead of them. I think that both can be President and both are capable of performing the duties as required, but how they pursue them is the real question. I don’t see McCain as able to look to the future, he is too indebted to the competing powers within the GOP camp and is looking backward, as evidenced by his VP selection, a purely token selection, not just as a woman, but also as a social conservative… he is beholding to a significant element of the GOP. I believe that Obama, on the other hand selected a VP qualified to assist his efforts and is looking to solve the challenges that lie ahead.

                • eddiepscetti says:

Let’s put it this way, if Obama does get elected, let’s just hope he doesn’t get derailed by Congress, as well as for McCain. For ANY President, that will be the biggest hurdle. The best laid plans have sometimes been superceeded by Congress.

  7. Inara says:

Tuesday is Random Hug Day, not Taco Day, dammit.

  8. Jen says:

Tacos? I (an outspoken Democrat) would totally vote for him if he could do that.

  9. faetal says:

Now we eagerly await Obama’s Rebuttal stating that he’ll put a Vending Machine in the Student Commons… If only every election were held like the ones for ASB Pres… some glitter and scented markers on poster board, an afternoon off to listen to “debates” in the auditorium… empty promises and mud flinging…
Wait… It IS just like High School… =\ depressing

  10. Gizmo42 says:

    I want free tacos!

Hehe tacos rule (in George Bush voice)

Cartoon fail. (But that’s fine: at least you’re watching quality programming)

The line is from the “Treehouse of Terror 3(?): Citizen Kang” episode, where aliens Kang and Kodos disguise themselves as Bill Clinton and Bob Dole.

Also the Epic speech that puts all of Obama;s to shame: “We must move forwards not backwards, upwards not forwards, and always twirling *twirling* Twirling towards freedom.”

  21. Brandon_ha says:

Ouch yeah your right. I feel dumb now. At least I had the right creator.

  22. Person says:

I feel at one with all cartoon nerds now. you are my brothers and sisters. i’d rather not meet you though.

  23. herb says:

    True enough. Mat Groening FTW.

  24. guidoarmstrong says:
