Fundamentalism in any form only turns clocks backward. Fundamentalist Christianity and Fundamentalist Islam are merely two sides of the same coin, and women in either sort of society would wind up in the exact same place (not to mention anyone who chose not to go along with eithers’ belief system.)

How does Islam spread their ….gospel ? Jihad. Cojoling, coercing, conquering people to implement Sharia Law. Non-Muslims have virtually no rights under Sharia. Like England has done in several cities, but its spreading.

The Jihad will stop when the entire world is under Sharia. There won’t be any seperation between Mosque and State !

There are many hadiths that talk about all the sex going on. Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Kathir, etc. The houris are married, but they are there for sex.

As for the meat comment above, I always die a little inside when I see people accusing Hef of causing anything. He publishes a magazine where women come to him to pose. He isn’t dragging them off the street. Cosmo advocates shallow values more than any adult magazine.

Long made short, the houris are 72 ever-youthful and beautiful creatures more akin to celestial attendants than cherry high school girls. Properly, they are sexless beings, a chamber of servants to those have likely never had one.

The misconception is widespread, though. Taking a different angle on it: if I’m a good Christian, when I die, will I have all those dead baby angels to wait on my like is always portrayed? And where do these winged dead babies come from?

Besides, even women are suicide bombers in some places now. It makes sense because ….. what do Muslim women have to smile about ?
