I got a fortune cookie the other day. It said, “You will eat a fortune cookie.” So I ate it in bed.
I approve.
I had one that said “If we are all worms, try to be a glow worm.” So…glowsticks or glow in the dark condoms?

My favorite one that I got was “You will be hungry later. Order take out now.” Called the current fling.
I got that same “You will eat a fortune cookie” fortune cookie, and threw it away. On the back, where it shows you the meaning of a word in Chinese, mine said “fail”.
I’m not sure I totally *get* the caption but I am grateful for the ID on the person in the picture. Like Sarah Palin, I had no idea who he was!

I, for one, am just relieved that commentators on a lolcats site know how to run the country. Whew, for a second, I was worried that people who’ve been in the stock business their whole lives might know more than your average know-it-all who clearly has nothing more important to do than post their opinions on how to govern an economy. What sweet relief floods my soul.

There are almost zero conservatives who support the “No Banker Left Behind” bailout. There are almost zero conservatives who continue to support Bush.
This has ceased to be a partisan issue. It is American citizens vs. Fascism. Buy a clue.
Reread Leland’s post. He IS someone who obviously sides with the bankers on this. Not sure if he is conservative or not, but that wasn’t the issue! Nobody used that word until you. Your mind is the one that ties together ‘conservative’ and ‘supports Wall Street.’
Leland, clearly, jumping from your ground floor window only deepened your angst. A bit of advice, if I may: take the elevator up a few more stories and give it another go…you may need to use some heavy object to break the glass, but do give it the old college try. The Wise Men of Wall Street have screwed the proverbial pooch in ways beyond the reach of even the most perverse imagination and, quite frankly, i’m not the least bit sorry if the scorn heaped upon them gets under your skin.
You know that we are better at running the country just as we are better coaches than the ones we watch on TV and would do a better job on every single game show. D’uh!! The couch gives us uber powers!!
