I actully have a profession as do many other people who protest, lobby, write letters, organize and appeal for redress for what’s happening to our country.

It’s the first time I’ve held up a sign that said FAIL, but I’ve been protesting the crap that’s been happening to our country since before the war began and I’ve been here in Washington off and on for a couple of years. I’m loud, I love my country something fierce, and I have a sarcastic sense of humor. They are not going to kill people, steal and lie without a fight from me and a whole lot of other folks. There are people of all ages, ex-teachers like me, students, Iraq vets, Vietnam vets, Democrats, Republicans, all kinds a folks are here refusing to let these people ruin our country in the name of greed. You’d be amazed at the kind of good old fashion patriots you find here in Washington and all over the country. The internet and independent media are the only way the word gets out.

Folks who forward pictures and stories around the world using humor and art and video let people know that they aren’t alone in hating the crap this administration, this congress, greedy corporations and good old fashion apathy have been doing to our country and our world.

I heard the photographers sitting on the floor in front of the Banking Committee kinda giggle when I held up the sign and I heard all kinds of clicking. I held the sign up for probably 30 seconds before the Capitol Police made me take it down. I knew lots of folks would get it.
