No, he is not being a hypocrite, how is it being hypocritical when you are big enough to be able to appreciate humor aimed at yourself or a candidate you support? No one is perfect and all political figures are human, yes even Obama. You are being petty and small.

There’s a difference between appreciate an action and appreciating the action’s result. Whether you want to admit it or not, if you find something funny, you appreciate that something. You may not appreciate the actions that brought that something about, you may not appreciate the principle, but you appreciate that something in and of itself.
