I was. I was specifically saying that on 9/11. GWB failed most miserably on that day and thereafter, in trying to tie Iraq to the attack. I was also saying, the moment I understood what was happening on 9/11, that the neo-cons would use the tragedy to further their sick agenda, and they did. In fact, before 9/11, the conservative think-tank ‘Project for a New American Century’ said that we needed a crisis like 9/11 in order for Americans to accept their policies. Not saying they engineered anything, just that they planned ahead of time to take advantage of it if something like that happened. It’s all on public record.
I agree. It’s the whole ‘problem reaction solution’ formula. There’s a major problem. The people react & want to be saved. That’s when they have the solution & the solution is a whole bunch of laws & actions to take away rights. That’s why I don’t like them buying out the banks. It’s all more control.
