  1. Maxwell Silverhammer says:

    Haha… not really that funny.

    • herb says:

Yes it is. Not bust-a-gut-laughing funny, but certainly very amusing.

      • Maxwell Silverhammer says:

Thats why I said “that funny” emphasis on the the that. Im sure there were better on the voting page. Had to be.

        • Maxwell Silverhammer says:

No emphasis on removing the extra “the”.

          • Stereotypo says:

Sure, I’ll say it. It’s not even mildly funny. It’s barely even topical. I’m all for making gay jokes, but this is just disappointing.

            • I_Tego_Arcana_Dei says:

seriously. it acutally depresses me ’cause my state (FL) has an anti-marriage measure on the ballot and it looks like its gonna pass

              *sighs*

i need to move to Mass and find a that cute librarian boy i hope exists…

              • Jamieteevee says:

That’s the funny thing about this state. Sure People are accepting, and marriage is legal but the good ones are taken and the not so good ones are not exactly plentiful. The “liberal” media would have you believe that with the Gay marriage thing here, that we took over the streets and rove in large gangs of copulating disco parties. In reality, we were allowed to become as boring and ordinary as the other folks and we dove right in and TA DA! WE became assimilated!

                • froofrou says:

Why would you guys want to subject yourselves to marriage? Seems a little masochistic to me :-)

                  • i’m single, but i do have thia wierd desire to get hitched….i’m thinking it’s a “grassis always greener” situation…

                    • ema says:

Marraige is not always fun. What’s even worse is divorce. Don’t build a life with anyone if you think there is even a slight chance you may tear it all down at some point in the future.

                      • All these points are fine and dandy but it looks like we are trying to talk gays out of marriage. Then again, I am a very cynical person with a mellow disposition.

I am rooting for ya Tego. Find that guy that works for you and get hitched with my blessing. :D

      • The L says:

The look on McCain’s face makes it somewhat more amusing than it otherwise would be.

Like “What did you just say Joe?”

  2. wimple says:

And don’t they look cute together?

  3. epark says:

    can someone explain, please?

  4. DaftPyramid says:

    Mildly amusing.

  5. Tessie says:

Caption suggestion: Dr. Evil meets Dr. Zoidberg

  6. Schmoe says:

Check McCain’s expression; he doesn’t understand the inference.

  7. Rvo says:

McCain looks distinctly uncomfortable. Might be a reason for that, though.

Or Lieberman might be smiling for other reasons. We can’t see McCain’s left hand, you know.

  8. Gr3y says:

Ya know, George bush would make a waay better candidate for John McCain’s Gay Marriage.

  9. Jane St.Clair says:

He’s biting his lip, naughty Joe, very naughty…

  10. Dylan H says:

Nothing wrong with a bit of Jew-love.

  11. Evil Pundit says:

    Gay jokes, always funny!

    Uh, wait, not really …

    • minerva146 says:

Wow, apparently this LOL was so lame, even EP has trouble adding some flavor text. LOL

      • Maxwell Silverhammer says:

Well I do have to say that I like threads without the “crazy sh*t” flavor he usually pours on.

        • ema says:

Really? I kinda miss that myself, but I am a fan of crazy sh*t flavor. Sometimes it’s the sanest stuff around.

          • eddiepscetti says:

And admit it, sometimes controversy pus the creative thought processes in gear. It’s ok that other’s may not care of EP’s style, and even I may not always agree with him, but I will respect the fact that he at least has an opinion.

            • Maxwell Silverhammer says:

Im sorry, but I dont respect someone’s opinion who simply dodges answers,
spins the truth, or just blatantly ignores facts. Most of EP’s talking points are
easily refuted, disproved, or are just too crazy to even believe. Like you,
I respect that he has an opinion, but I dont respect how he presents himself.
Perhaps if he could ever have an actual debate instead of making an outrageous
claim or slur, then completely disappearing when he’s presented with facts from
reality. Id respect him a lot more if he’d realize debate isnt about dodging and spinning. You HAVE to make contact in debate otherwise your arguments fall
through. Thats all. So until he changes his debating ways and becomes a sane
person like Seth has become, I’ll continue to reject his flavor…

              • ema says:

He has had actual debates, plenty of them in past lols, I think he is just tired of it… He was sane way before Seth became sane, they kind of switched places.

                • Maxwell Silverhammer says:

Most of his “debates” were never really debates. Instead of rebuttling
he’d simply either spin what the person said around to make them seem
to be either hypocritical, or he’d dodge and bring up a completely irrelevant
unrelated topic and start the cycle over again. Thats not debating. Ive ben
reading these boards for months before I ever decided to post, and I
had formed views on people based on what I read. You ema, eddie, and froofrou seem to be the only right wingers that can present an argument, support it, and not devolve into name calling or spin art. You guys do your research, you say what needs to be said, and you dont try to bring petty arguments into a debate to cloud the issues. You folks know how to actually have a conversation, and I wish I could say the same for EP, but he has some growing up to do. I will admit though, he was better when he started out. But recently he’s withered to some kind of weird sock puppet… not even really a sock puppet but the shell of one. Its like he’s not even trying to present his ideas in a fashion that people can agree with anymore… who knows, maybe he is tired. If I were EP… Id be tired too, all that spinning would have made me vomit
                  long ago.

                  • ema says:

Well, I still like him and would miss seeing him here. I get nostalgic for the old days, you know like 2 or 3 months ago… *sigh* Good times.

                    • Maxwell Silverhammer says:

I could probably work up to liking him, if everytime I disagreed with him
he didnt try to insult me, or make assumptions about me. I think in
my core, thats my issue with him. He tends to attack the person, not
                      their point of view.

                • Seth says:

Oh noes! People think I’m sane now? What am I doing wrong? (looks around for some toothpaste to make mouth-froth with) Ummm, WHARGARBL?

  12. McCain says:

“Get this creep off of me!” (thru gritted teeth)

  13. Azkyroth says:

Joe Lieberman being the arch-Vichycrat that he is, it’s unfortunately too true to be funny.

  14. AtlasShrugged says:

If they did announce that they were gay, would the Liberals in San Francisco love them ?
