it’s a rather silly annoying statement to be honest. I’m not saying we should all pretend he is making the decisions and running the country yet, but i don’t see calling him president as a cardinal sin.

When you do something where there is a wait period between when you know you will do something, and when you do it do you differentiate? Like when you get a job that starts tues, do you wait until Tuesday to say “i’m employed”?

For the Secretary of State to become President, you would have to take out POTUS, VPOTUS, Speaker of the House and President pro tempore of the Senate. From there it goes down through the cabinet based on the year of the creation of the position. Click for the current list.

Why? It’s the elephant in the room. During the campaign the SS was asked to provide him protection earlier than any candidate in history. They’ve already thwarted at least one plot to kill the guy, and he hasn’t even taken office yet. I was scared to death on election night watching him stand, basically in the wide-open, for half an hour. Thank Christ nothing happened, but there are some srsly f*cked up people out there, and I am not talking the tame, garden-variety Booth, Oswald or Hinckley types here. The SS is going to be working over-f*cking-time to watch out for this man for the next 4+ years (or more), like they’ve never had to before.

So while the broaching of the subject was slightly tactless, is there anyone else out there so not aware of the possibility, that they can’t stand to talk about it?
