I agree with Minerva146 that the tone of Seth’s post was eerily similar to stuff you hear on right-wing radio. I listen to right-wing, left-wing, classic rock, classical, top 40, whatever. It’s the right-wing stuff that almost makes me drive off the road sometimes, it’s so far out there.

Nice try, but not quite. Stu had quit the band quite some time prior (he was only in it in the first place because they needed a bassist and he’d received some prize money for some artwork and could afford to buy one — he couldn’t even play and used to stand with his back to the audience to hide that fact). That’s when Paul moved to bass. Stuart died of a cerebral hemorrhage which may have been the result of being kicked in the head during a fight several years earlier. This was quite a while after he’d left the group and he was living in Hamburg with his girlfriend. Stu was never in any way, shape or form the “leader” of the Beatles; he was a good friend of John’s and John had been the one to force the issue of Stu joining the group even though, as mentioned, Stu couldn’t play a lick and was, in fact, an artist. Stu was very important to John but was merely a minor player in the overall Beatles’ story.

And George Harrison was lead guitar.

Actually, knowing those conservative zealots, and being a recovered zealot myself, I know for a fact that they think far worse of him than that. Obama is the Anti-Christ, after all .

Interestingly, being a recovered zealot-turned-perspectiveist (my own little (big) word for someone who tries to look at things from everyone’s perspective), I now hold even greater hatred for liberal zealots than I used to. It’s just that my hatred for conservative zealots matches it. Just a little unwanted glimpse into my psyche, lol.
