Our bodies are designed around keeping our internal organs within a specific temperature range, and because of how our nervous system is set up, how hot we feel is a reflection of our extremities. The female body is more efficiently designed to pull blood, and thus heat, inwards to protect the organs, which means a lower temperature in the extremities. Men carry more fat and muscle mass, so we’re more naturally insulated, and thus pull less heat from our extremities.
