I was impressed that he was mad enough to come up with his own propelling device for the accelerant. I find myself compelled to learn either how crazy he was or how crazy his ex was to drive him to this. I expect to find a healthy amount of both assuming I ever give enough of a damn to research it further.

I work in a bookstore. I had to work yesterday. My favorite was a woman who came up to me wanting to know if I could recommend a book for an 85 year old woman (I’m 28). My first thought was, “do I LOOK like I can recommend a book for an 85 year old woman?!” Then she says, “well, don’t you guys have list for certain age groups?” Right, because all 85 year olds are exactly the same. I told her my grandmother was 85 but she reads hardcore romances so if she thought the person would like that I had a few authors I could recommend to her.
