EVERYBODY of her generation that could afford it wore fur, idiot. She was a rich woman and she had nice furs. Just because we are better informed about the consequences of wearing fur now doesn’t mean history is revised and all who formerly wore it were hopelessly evil. In the ’70′s, everybody that could afford it had a rabbitskin jacket. Are they all evil? Revisionist, sickening holier-than-thou dummy, who WANTS your respect as it is based on your 15 years of life experience?

Well, if this was a real news thing, it might very well say “inaugural singer” at least for part of the time, because the emphasis would be on the fact that the robot butterfly attacked *somebody* during the inaugeration. The video might be preparing to move to “Aretha Franklin Unhurt But Startled”. Or maybe her name wouldn’t get mentioned because everybody is assumed to know who she is, and the point is it happened at the inaugeration-or maybe her name would be said during the voiceover. It would depend on the news source and what angle they were trying to put on it and the actual intentions of the robot butterfly. Maybe the point of the story is “robot butterfly accidently attacks singer instead of Obama”. For example.

Yeah, well, she sang live rather than pre-recorded a la the SuperBowl sirens. That’s what an actual live voice sounds like in 20 degree weather on a momentous occasion.

I didn’t like the three word phrasing she used but assumed she was a little breathless for the above reasons.
