Especially when she's got Ana Marie Cox to bounce off of. I loved it when she had to give Rachel the word "gah!" for their analysis of the Jindal speech. ~~And then they made out.~~ OK, they didn't, but damn, they should have. Srsly, I could listen to those two talk about lawn care for half an hour and it would be fascinating.

Lazlo obviously didn’t live through the pre-CNN years. I always thought it was weird that there was exactly an hour’s worth of stuff that happened, worldwide; and if it didn’t apply to white, middle class Americans, then it wasn’t in the news!

If we can’t mandate exceptional news coverage, we can at least expect a sufficient quantity that sometimes we get all we need.
