Sorry, ubr, but I just now got to this LOL again, and the thread
below is long.

I don’t have a “personal tiff” against Literal, but do have a problem
with unfairness. Other people (not I) deserved to have LOLs on the
front page, but didn’t make it because of what she did, namely,
creating multiple profiles to drum up votes for her LOLs.

How is that fair?

I initially pointed out her “Sardonic” deceit when she decided to
dictate how people should post on LOLs she made. That, coupled
with an unfair attack against me for another perceived offense
(despite my explanation) led me to shed some light on her. If she
hadn’t gone nuts in the first place, I would have kept the Sardonic
stuff to myself.

Since then, she has socked many times and attacked me in many
ways. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll notice three things
about me:

1. I haven’t lied, and have provided proof, wherever possible.
2. I have defended myself, which is my right.
3. I have never post-stalked her, though she has, via multiple
socks, followed me around, in an effort to harass me. (You may
not have recognized all of her socks, but there are tells.)

Most of this doesn’t matter anymore, as she seems to have
simmered down a bit. Some “real” LOLs are getting through now,
so all seems returning to normal. (Okay, saying “normal” in
reference to PK is a stretch…)

As for bias, ubr, you are defending your friend, and that’s fine.

Just don’t call me biased without full disclosure of your own bias,
okay?

Actually, that’s me, and I don’t post anymore because frankly I don’t think I can handle being ripped on for having conservative leanings. I’ve seen what happens to people who can’t back up their assertions. It makes me pretty nervous, I’m not that well-versed in politics (not like the rest of you guys, but I am learning) so I’d rather just lurk.

Posting as three different people isn’t the problem. Posting as three (or more) different people while pretending to be another person altogether in order to harass, name-jack, and generally act like an idiot until avatars arrive to show what’s been going on is another can of worms altogether. Then, when it becomes obvious what’s been going on, deny it all and say you were name-jacked yourself? Please. The problem is not the socks. The problem is the mental deficient that it takes to create a sock and then use it for nefarious purposes and to harass people.

Also, creating socks to vote for your own LOLs in order to co-opt the front pages and keep other people with equally good or better LOLs from getting on the front page because you are an attention wh*re and need to be loved…….that’s also a problem. People are getting shut out because someone needs to be in the limelight all the time.

Subject correctly identified, spelling and grammar ok, and actually funny, too. Win in my book.

There is, though, something amiss with the voting system lately although I doubt Lit’s got anything to do with it; she’s just high-volume on production and quite honestly has some funny ones. But I have noticed recently that even though I check for new stuff to vote on several times a day, there’s ones that I NEVER see (not just mine, but I’ll see something someone else has favorited and I never saw it in voting). Today was (for whatever reason) a pretty high-volume day for me; I did 8 new ones (which, yeah, that’s ridiculous…but a lot of days I don’t do any) and I only saw 2 of them in voting at all, which just seems weird.

My point is there are a lot of bad up here but for all of the bad ones hers seems to make it to the front page in suspiciously high numbers.
I think she works at pk, knows someone who works at pk or has a minimum of 10 emails adddresses she uses to vote hers to the front (this one).
I know it’s been discussed before and I know she gets livid at the suggestion and I still dont believe her.
