  1. Kia says:

    LULULULZ!!!! so true

  2. Rafiq of the many says:

Not to mention Anti-Semetic streak and Anti-women streak. This guy is a complete piece of garbage.

    • PortlandMark says:

I agree with your statement, but I haven’t heard about his sadistic streak. Can anyone elaborate?

I’m not a supporter of his, mind you, but I’m still concerned about the possibility someone in the US Govt might be trying to drum up a war between us and Iran, and I don’t like to see baseless propaganda going around.

      Just saying.

      • Dirgon says:

His past is well documented, if you look. (For example: he directly participated in the “aggressive interrogation” of Tehran embassy detainees, aka “torture” if it had happened in Gitmo.)

But let’s be honest — nothing I can say can convince you, because you’re hiding your true convictions behind baseless allegations of “baseless propaganda” and other passive-aggressive bullshit. If that’s what you believe, that’s fine — it’s somewhat unconscionable, but unlike the Islamic Republic, this is a free country. But have the strength to stand up for your convictions.

        • PortlandMark says:

Umm, you went way off the deep end there.

First, I *asked* for information, you apparently have none, or you might have linked it.

Second, if you think he should be condemned for doing the kinds of things we authorized at Guantanamo, do you also think *we* should be condemned for torture that occured at Guantanamo?

You seem to have no idea what my convictions are: I believe this country cannot afford another useless war against a state that doesn’t present a threat to us. If Iran turns out to be a direct threat, then fine, we’ll do whatever needs to be done to fix that problem. However, I will not stand by and watch another Iraq happen without at least asking that we get a little more information, and a lot less rhetoric, capiche?

          • Danbala says:

Nah. Your conviction is obviously that it’s good to get as much information as possible, so you can make your own judgement calls and not swallow propaganda as it’s served.
            You BAD person, you.

          • Czernobog says:

Click the link under my name for information regarding Dirgon’s comment.

          • Dirgon says:

By now I understand your convictions pretty clearly — you’d like to prevent another war, but you’re afraid, unwilling, or just unsure of what you can do personally, so instead you adopt this “propaganda is out there, nothing is to be believed, blah blah blah” attitude that accomplishes precisely nothing, but lets you feel better while you stand by and watch another Iraq happen. Sound about right?

I have better things to do than play your lose-lose passive-aggressive game — and so do you. If you’re serious about your convictions, and not just spouting off PC rhetoric, then open your mind, get off your ass, learn everything you can, and fight back. Make sense?

        • Seth says:

Look, Mark isn’t trying to excuse the guy. Ahmadinejad is a wingnut. But you don’t need to make stuff up to show what a bad person he is. Why not claim he eats babies, too? Stick to the stuff he actually does, that’s bad enough. You could easily make the claim that, say, Saddam had a sadistic streak. It’s pretty well documented. But if your only proof here is an unsourced claim that Ahmadinejad enjoys causing pain for its own sake, you haven’t shown anything except your bias and your inability to express your real concerns with his actions. Not every enemy is a monster. Not every monster enjoys pain. The world isn’t black and white.

        • Slinkman says:

hey, the pope participated in a nazi youth group, i can pull out many involvements in such groups for almost any prominent character in human history, btw the guy was protecting his country from american imperialism at that time, isn’t that much like what americans say when they torture people? They do it for their country’s freedom? So yes, he wanted to be free at that time, since the Shah’s order was corrupt and following America’s orders.

      • Lark88 says:

Well, he did mention that he want’s Israel to be wiped off the map. I don’t think the only one who’s drumming up a war is Ahmadinejad.

        • PortlandMark says:

His unswerving unwillingness to admit Israel should be allowed to exist as a state is the third worst thing about him, imo (the other two are his misogyny and his anti-semitism)(yeah, I think anti-semitism and anti Israeli sentiments are subtly different). However, I don’t think Iran is actually arming for war in Israel. All the arab states seem to want someone else to do the fighting, and as long as that continues to be the case, I think we’re safe from an actual war breaking out.

If we can just keep Iran peaceful for another ten to twenty years, all the new generation will take power, and the hateful mullahs, imams, and what have you will all die off. The younger generation is much more reasonable, and they love America!

          • Czernobog says:

Your naivete is charming. First off, both HAMAS and Hezbollah are being used by Iran as cats-paws. Their funding, arms, and training come from Iran, so Iran is basically waging a guerilla war against Israel.
Second, the bulk of Iranian people are quite reasonable already, but it makes no difference because Iran is a theocracy. President Ahmadinejad does not hold supreme executive power, the Ayatollahs do. Until Iran undergoes a coup (and you don’t want them to have nuclear weapons when that happens) public sentiment is meaningless.

            • PortlandMark says:

“Until Iran undergoes a coup (and you don’t want them to have nuclear weapons when that happens) public sentiment is meaningless.”

First, thanks for judging my naivete. Funny how I never hear those words out of anyone except people who believe indiscriminate killing will solve all their problems.

Secondly, public sentiment is the ground in which the new generation of mullahs are being raised up, and you know what? They will not be as hard line as the ones who were raised up under the oppression of a US backed dictator. Diplomacy and international support will do more to keep us safe from Iran (I can’t believe I actually typed “safe from Iran”) than bellicose rhetoric and bombing.

              • Dirgon says:

For someone who gets offended at being judged by others, you’re awfully quick to do it yourself. “Indiscriminate killing”, huh? And what was that about a little more information and a lot less rhetoric?

          • chimmeychango says:

thats actually assuming quite a bit.i dont know if this is true or propaganda,
but here goes, and you have the interwebz, so do some research yerself…In pondering the behavior of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, I cannot help but think of the
500,000 plastic keys that Iran imported from Taiwan during the Iran-IraqWar of 1980-
            88. At the time, an Iranian law laid down that children as young as 12 could be used to
clear mine fields. Before every mission, a plastic key would be hung around each of the
children’s necks. It was supposed to open for them the gates to paradise.

Ahmadinejad forms part of the first generation of Basiji militants and still today he is
often to be seen wearing a Basiji uniform.

            • chimmeychango says:

furthermore you are hoping that a nation as entrenched in religious belief will actually educate their populace with anything other than muslim rhetoric.i live in the united states, and we still have people trying to replace science with religion, im talking about Kitzmiller v. Dover: Teaching Intelligent Design in the Dover Schools most recently and most famously, but the assault on reality from delusional theocrats continues even here, in one of the most developed and forward thinking nations of our times. i dont know why you would have hope that the next generation of iranians would just have some mass epiphany and come to understand the world in a way different than will be reinforced everyday by everyone in their lives. i dont want to sound like i believe it cannot happen..enlightenment does not require cultivation, it can hit you from any direction at any time, thus zen buddhism… but generally speaking, if you want to have a beautiful garden, you must sew, you must weed, you must fertilize. a rose may grow through stone, but it is the exception, not the average.

          • Robert says:

Well, he’s not going for a war now cuz he know Israel would wipe them off the map. But if he has nukes, there won’t be much Israel left to retaliate. I’m off the opinion that the only reason we haven’t turned Iran into so much rubble is exactly what Mark is saying-it’s the older generation that’s into saber-rattling, the youth are much more into not acting like a country full of sociopaths.

  3. Rami says:

    i has a nuclear power

  4. Wolvie says:

Hey that is Obama’s main man your making fun of there!

  5. Doc says:

Must we laugh at the cruelty of men, mocking them for our own sick pleasure? He may be a fiend, but are we any better than him when we laugh at him?

    • Hell Hath No Fury says:

Well, you aren’t, seeing as you went to the effort to visit a site that is based upon making this kind of joke, and also made a profile, a name, and comment on it. Yeaaah, way to show us.

    • slaggingham says:

Being laughed at is the one weapon against which none can stand.

    • IrishJarhead says:

Well lets see, I’m not a dictator, I haven’t had anyone executed for homosexuality or apostasy aka “exercising freedom of religion” (lately).

I haven’t said I was going to wipe the only functional democracy in the middle east from the face of the Earth.

Or turn it and America into a “sea of fire”

And I haven’t taken steps to violate the nuclear nonproliferation treaty and God knows what other international agreements either.

So yes, I can say with a straight face that I am MUCH better than him no matter how much I laugh at him. I’ll even go so far as to say that if I was given the opportunity to remove said individual from the face of the Earth, I would do it and we’d be better off as a species.

      • Robert says:

        You make my heart smile.

You forgot the part about how destroying Israel will bring the return of the 12th Imam and the slaughter of all Infidels.

  6. Napoliq says:

i saw him holding once a chearleader Pom-pom xD

  7. dave says:

    zende bad ahmedinejad!

  8. Eli says:

    hot hot hot *drools*

  9. beauty2ashes says:

Once there was a farmer who had a donkey he could not get to work hard enough. So! The farmer dug a hole and put the donkey in it!

The farmer began to shovel with all his might to bury the dumb, stuborn donkey alive.

Now what do you think that stuborn donkey did?

As the farmer threw the dirt in on top of his beautiful fury body, the donkey merely stepped upon it time and time again until at last the donkey was able to simply step out of the whole.

Then the donkey, gave the farmer a swift kick, brayed a warning to all the other beautiful God created animals and trotted away!

    LOL + big smile!

  10. Slinkman says:

Why couldn’t the US just **** off! It is non of their business to interfere in anything that occurs in the middle east. OHH! I remember now, ISRAEL. Of course, how could anyone forget that it is of the United States best interest to ensure the safety of israel, the US don’t want what’s best for the Iranians or anyone in the middle east (except israel of course), all they want is the safety of “israel.” And don’t start with the “threat” crap, it is only a threat to colonialism, imperialism and occupation. Most of the people of Iran do favor Najad, the US is provoking numbers against Najad but their tries yet fail, proving that this is what MOST of the people still want. I never thought that the other side would be using the word “propaganda.” You people better check again who is spreading propaganda against whom.
