  2. snort says:

    myspace page definitely!

  3. meow says:

There’s gonna be sooo many Photoshops.

  4. yes says:

    PHOTOSHOPPED in the 1969 !

  5. AC says:

My goodness, this caption’s witty and original.

  6. rhorho says:

    [LINK] 21 October 2008 LOL

    *sigh*

    • Jane St.Clair says:

I know Rho, but we’ve had the Darth Vader picture at least three times, and the picture you linked to has been captioned several times. Originality, PK does not have it.

      • Eric-in-STL says:

No, no, no. It’s original, you see. Because this time they said “Facebook” instead of “Myspace” and that makes it a whole new level of funny!!

Ow. Sarcasm overload gave me a headache.

      • rhorho says:

This time, the captions were too close. The last one drew a whopping 19 comments. Just sayin’.

      • itegoarcanadei says:

this is a test of emergency commenting system.

someone help me out here. everytime i log into ICHC my profile and profile picture come up. but then when i go to comment on a lol, it acts like i’m not logged in and it wont display my profile pctiure.

        WTF.

        i <3 my profile picture….

        • Danbala says:

Do you have the avatar from gravatar.com, or a wordpress account that you’re logged into? PK doesn’t care about one’s ICHC profile at all.

          • itegoarcanadei says:

no. the avatar is one i’ve had for years. it’s uploaded to my ICHC user account. i don’t think i have a wordpress account….

how doese one go about having the profile you want show up here on wordpress?

            • Danbala says:

From what I understand, you just go to gravatar.com and follow instructions there… (And then when you’ve done that, it takes a while before it to be updated on here.) That should sort out the avatar icon, at least.
              .
(I went for the wordpress account version, since I figured I might as well try that blogging thing.)

              • Katillac says:

As mentioned, if you’re logged into WordPress, it’ll use your avatar from there. Otherwise, it will show your avatar from gravatar.com if you use the same email address that avatar is registered to.

I hope I said that right. Sorry, I’m tired, but wanted to try to help. :/

  7. Dhoti says:

    lol h8x!

  8. The Steve says:

    Not funny.

  9. lowly grunt says:

I am lodging a protest. No one will see it because you all have lives that you are out living, but here we go anyway…

We need more lols on the weekends. We only get two or three most weekends and the comments sections clog up with all sorts of stuff that make wading through them purt near unbearable.

    MORE WEEKEND LOLS!

    kthx

    • GomerPhyls says:

Not enough decent lols to put up more than that on the weekends. If they put up more, the quality declines.

    • dissimilitude's sock says:

I second LG’s call for an extra LOL or two on weekends.

(I wrote that out so Eds wouldn’t post a random fact under me.)

  10. Sorry says:

Okay, sorry for turning this into an argument, but why don’t kids have freedom of speech? If I say something my superiors disagree with, I can be grounded or given a detention for it. And I don’t mean screaming out fire in a crowded hallway. I mean standing up for what you believe is right. Again, sorry for turning this into an argument.

    • Shut says:

Because your immature brats who don’t deserve free opinion.

    • The Steve says:

Because simply opening your mouth is not covered by freedom of speech, especially in the classroom. You are in a room with other students, and their right to learn is equal to your right to freedom of speech. As soon as your speaking infringes upon their right to learn, you forfeit that right to speak.

  11. sorry says:

Thats not what I meant. Again, I mean standing up for what you believe is right. I don’t mean distracting other people, I mean standing up for someone who was wrongfully punished in the lunchroom, which was what had just happened to me when I wrote my last post. Quote “Sign yourself up for detention!” “What did I do?” “I didn’t tell you to ask questions, I told you DETENTION!!!!!” “But if he doesn’t know what he did, what purpose does detention serve?” “You have detention too! Sign up now!!!” Unquote. (For the record, he really didn’t do anything wrong.)

    • csdx says:

because while there may be a right to free speech, there’s no right to be listened to. Anyways the example you gave has nothing to do with free speech, since I don’t think Congress has made any laws that applied to your particular situation. Read the actual text of it sometime (or even the wikipedia article one it). Though if the situation really disturbed you enough, then the correct course is to escalate and appeal to a higher authority, or get more people on your side and willing to take action.

In other news the photo totally reminded me of Hope Eyrie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXteSV8rBwY)

  13. Laurel says:

Excuse the nitpick, but the alt text says “Apollo 11″ and this is not an Apollo 11 picture. It is from Apollo 15 (1971) and the astronaut is Lunar Module Pilot James Irwin.
