perhaps the message here [while the people in the picture aren't unemployed] to people (that are unemployed and see this) is that you can’t expect to get something for nothing, if you want it you need ambition and so on…. maybe if you take in the details of the picture like the fact that they’re both dressed rather nicely to be standing on the corner with signs (i mean i would have sold my cloths and furniture first if i was truly that desperate and actually have before) you would see this is obviously some sort of movement or message rather than two hungry lazy kids lol…but this is just a new look on it instead of judging them and attacking them as most before me have

Depends on the form and reason of the paranoia. I’ve been like this all my life but I was already damaged goods. If you are just now paranoid because of the recession/depression, it should pass when the market recovers or you reach some kind of stability. So yes, you get used to it, in a way but mostly you just resist the urge to twitch a lot.

Obviously, mileage may vary.

it’s only a recession until the ‘best and brightest’ on wall street lose their jobs, then it becomes a depression, but as we all know they got bailed out and given bonuses for doing such outstanding jobs , but because nobody leapt from their windows (ala 1929) it will never be called a depression…. it’s just too depressing…..
