    Very helpful clarification, thanks.

The one where the paper is actually lying was WAY funnier, IMHO.

Also, if you flip it upside down, things are improving! That’s about how skewed I find stats to be…

Don’t forget to site your data source. However, ACME data source and explosion equipment was what always got Wylie Coyote into trouble. ;-)

I learned to appreciate statistics from a poster in the school nurses office in middle school. It had Charley Brown and Snoopy and it read “100% of Smokers Die”. I loved it, you can’t argue with that logic.

  7. wallFly says:

89% of stats are made up 93.6% of the time, and 100% of stats can be made to say whatever you want.. 63% of the time. on a tuesday, preferably.

Looks a lot like Chris Patten to me, (sorry, now Lord Patten…) He was an MP, cabinet minister and chairman of the UK Conservative Party. After losing election he became the last British Governor of Hong Kong. After that gig he went to the European Union.

At least that is who he looks like to me.
