  1. HairySexyTroll says:

Now we know where Joe’s missing “hare” went…
    +

  2. V Gard says:

Ah yes, the continuation of blaming things on Biden so Obama dosn’t look bad. I wonder how well that works with his poll numbers…

  3. mothergoose says:

Comment comparing Obama’s ears to the Rabbit’s ears in 3…2…

    • HairySexyTroll says:

Why bother? Rabbits can’t use theirs to achieve lift-off… ;)

      • V Gard says:

        lol nice one.

        • Eric-in-STL says:

Hey! Dumbo’s got big ears and everybody likes him!

          • bad fairie says:

not when he’s flying directly overhead….think of the damage that a well placed ____ could cause

          • froofrou says:

Now now, Eric, you shouldn’t call the President derogatory names…….

            • bad fairie says:

does that mean we can’t call the shrub chimp or the chimpinator or what about cheney’s bumbling sock puppet?

              • froofrou says:

To each his own. In all seriousness, I can’t bring myself to call even a president I vehemently disagree with a derogatory name. Too much respect for the office, if not the man.

                • bad fairie says:

i felt the same way until about 2/3 yrs ago, and just haven’t gotten back onto an even keel just yet….the office i always respected, but i don’t feel w. did other than for enjoying being called mr. president and that is something i don’t hear obama called too much. i hear mr. obama more than i do president obama…. just tossing that out as a peeve of the moment, not that you have anything to do with it of course. i’m not that brain damaged, lol!

                  • froofrou says:

The most derogatory actual name calling you’ll probably ever hear from me about Obama is simply calling him “Obama” instead of “Mr. President” or “President Obama”. Of course, I do the same thing to Bush and Clinton, so I’m not sure it counts :-)
                    -
I understand your anger and frustration with Bush, and not wanting to be respectful to his official status. Trust me, if my personality was different, I’d be doing the same thing! I do enough cussing of the man in private, I just can’t seem to bring myself to do it in public. I’m one of many many MANY Republicans who think that Bush totally screwed the pooch, especially in his last 3 years.

                    • bad fairie says:

lol, i hear that. at least this time i can say i did not vote for that man, unlike reagan the first time around, and i can’t remember if i voted for bush sr or not…
but screwed the pooch is such an understatement for his time in office, but there are no polite(ish) words that describe his (and i include cheney in that) actions

                      • froofrou says:

I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably say it again after this, but I would be willing to bet a lot of money that Bush will be remembered better by history than he ever will be by those who lived through him. He’ll be mediocre at best, but by far not the worst.

                        • bad fairie says:

true, there are some that are only remembered because they’re in the list, and who’s to say what type of presidents will be elected in the future and problems they’ll face.

                        • PortlandMark says:

“but I would be willing to bet a lot of money that Bush will be remembered better by history than he ever will be by those who lived through him”

I’ll take that bet. How long do we have to wait? What organization will we trust to give the verdict? Let’s make it a million dollar bet, I’m going to want to retire in comfort.

                        • IvanTheMildlyAnnoying says:

I want a piece of that bet!

                        • froofrou says:

Mark, considering that my bet includes history outliving those who lived through the former prez ( “Bush will be remembered better by history than he ever will be by those who lived through him.”), I’d say you’ve got a long wait, and will be dead by the time it comes around, LOL. Like I said, LIncoln was hated for a long time after he was gone, and after those who lived through him were gone. The sting of slavery and the Civil War was pretty raw for a long time.

            • Eric-in-STL says:

              Wait, but, damn. Good one.

  4. Okay, I snickered a bit. Thank you, unknown captioner.

  5. ... says:

I think it’s cute when the media makes black people look like they’re all grown up.

  6. Generic&Tonic says:

im surprised its not a donnie darko reference caption

    • Captain Wow says:

      28 days… 6 hours… 42 minutes… 12 seconds. That… is when the world… will end. That movie is made of win.

    • charro says:

It could have just as easily been a “Harvey” reference, which to be honest I thought the rabbit in Donnie Darko was one big “Harvey” reference in and of itself.

      • PortlandMark says:

I just plain didn’t “get” Donnie Darko until after I read the Wiki article. Then I was just pissed; just a long, confusing Star Trek time travel episode.

        • I didn’t bother watching it and the more I read about it and hear about it, the less I want to watch it.

It will take a couple blowjobs before I am convinced that it is required view… >_>

        • charro says:

I enjoyed it as a “Harvey” reference. Mostly because most people that I know) who have seen Donnie Darko have never seen “Harvey” so it was like a private little joke with myself.
          Imaginary bunnies. ROFL.

  7. pittypat says:

And, children, ever since that day, McCain always reminded himself, “Don’t brag about your lightning pace, for Slow and Steady won the race!”

  8. The Steve says:

Lookin’ good Joe! Keep havin’ fun!

  9. charro says:

Finally! A !funny! LOL on this site, and it even involves Obama (meaning it’s not an “Obama = teh awesum reference)!!!!
    *sniffs* ah the nostalgia.

  10. eddiepscetti says:

Is it me, or does the rabbit look like it’s imitating Michelle?

    • Jane St.Clair says:

Yeah, what a really awkward facial expression, I bet Michelle hates that picture, but unlike me she doesn’t get to delete awkward Easter pictures of herself before anyone sees them.

  11. Acamori says:

I so expected to see a furry and/or south park reference in here somewhere.

I feel let down by all of you.

  12. scotth says:

Its nice to see a caption that made me chuckle for once.

  13. Bix Nood says:

    Expected a furry lol.

    Did not receive.

  14. Cowpie says:

I’m a little pony, clippity clop.

    love it!

  15. Lilith says:

Hahaha, now that’s good one! It’s refreshing to see a lol from time to time which hasn’t a political message ;)

  16. Tekrae says:

    Brilliant caption.

  17. *yawn* says:

Funny how there’s LOLs bagging on Biden but he’s not the one flushing this country down the toilet with empty promises

  18. The Steve says:

Harvey was an imaginary rabbit in a play that I saw once…I didn’t realize it was that widely performed.

  19. ubr says:

srsly? it’s a classic movie with jimmy stewart…

  20. wallFly says:

that’s that one with the guy and two robots who are stuck on a space ship and make fun of bad movies right?

there was a harvey in that i’m pretty sure.. or maybe just a harvey reference.

  21. Eric-in-STL says:

Mystery Science Theater (overflowingly full of win) made a Harvey the Rabbit joke during MST3K: The Movie, yes. I’ve only seen that movie about 458 times.

  22. viking gal says:

MSTK is full of win–I loved their take on ‘I was a teenage werewolf’!

  23. Eric-in-STL says:

“You are not drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic’s, young man, you’re just not old enough!”
