^^ Yeah, they can be very nice people. Nadeem doesn’t eat pork, prays toward Mecca, practices Ramadan (sp?), and loves to smoke from a hooka every once in a while, but he’s very normal. He dislike radicals in any form, and takes a very relaxed perspective when it comes to differing views, and he’s a funny guy. He’s even a gamer, like me. His family comes from Kenya with a Muslim background (family is originally from the middle east, but moved to Kenya to start a business). Just wish more people could look past the religion and the traditions and see them for what they really are. I guess it’s too much to ask sometimes.

I dated a muslim guy for a half a year, didn’t go over well with my dad, but he’s the nicest guy I know. very respectful and very kind, he’s also the only guy that i’ve ever dated that held the door open for me, stood when I walked in the room, the whole nine yards when it came to chivalry. I don’t understand this preconceived notion that they’re all @ssholes.

I’ve found they’re either nice and stupid, or smart and the meanest dogs alive. I haven’t met a poodle I liked, along with Yellow Labs. A pox on all yellow Labs! The black and chocolate ones are fine, but the yellow ones have an extra dose of stupid in their genes!

It’s something I’ve seen brewing in many pro war people, lately. They attribute religious radicals and terrorists with the religion and think everyone under that religion idolizes the action those radicals take. It’s actually pretty amusing considering that if terrorism were so widespread in Christianity here, we would know better than to clump Christian terrorists with *all* Christians. I leave blame to our country’s ignorance of Muslim lifestyle.

lol, oldest brought home some GOOD tiquila from mexico a few months ago – made me a convert
but depending on who i’m with i either drink single malt scotch or the specialty drinks with the cheesy glasses. and in the summer it’s good gin, tonic water and key limes squeezed in, but not the regular ones, gotta be the itty bitty keys. just don’t drink gin & tonic if you’re going to be inthe sun – makes the burns worse, but in the evening after mowing – perfect

my dad lives up in Monument, CO, beautiful place, nestled in the roots of the Rockies. Love that town. But here in Central that’s West Lake, the hills are really pretty. Of course, granted, if you can overlook the HUGE mansions that just break up the tree lines.

I am going to break this down simply. If I recall, youu claim to be a god fearing gal so I will ask this.

If I put a gun to your head, would you renounce your faith? If I put a gun to the heads of your loved ones, would you renounce your faith? If yes, you don’t have faith to begin with or a weak faith at best. If no, then you now realize why a threat wouldn’t stop jihadist.

It is that simple, if you threaten an entire country to get a small group, you make the entire country a part of that small group, swelling their ranks. You don’t remove cancer with a shotgun.

The Japanese were loyal to their country thus pressure on their country could work. The jihadist we face are loyal to their concept of God, who isn’t swayed by foreign pressure.

If anything, the bullying and cowardly weakness you show in wanting to attack innocents with vague hopes that it will affect the unaffected is disturbing. It isn’t strength to make enemies with arrogance. If somebody attacks us, sure, kill them. Without hesitation.

However, attacking their neighbors with some vague idea of it all being relative just makes us another enemy. We’ve killed hundreds of their direct comrades and a number of their families and still they come at us.

Your point and idea has no merit. When will you actually realize that?
