Well he was smarter. And more effective. He didn’t require the use of a helmet just to walk from his car to the door.

Ironic how a successful governor didn’t have enough experience or knowledge to fulfill a position that can obviously be filled by anyone with a double-digit IQ and has to be hidden from the press because he’s such an embarassment – the swine flu thing and Gibbsy covering for him (er…lying, actually) was just the most recent but it was funny.

Come on, don’t complain – it’s a presidency with at least 4 years of its own built-in humor. Joe just never lets you down!

Hehe – you forgot that he lives in a lair at the bottom of a volcano and runs an Executive Assassination Squad that rides dinosaurs equipped with rocket launchers and he has cloven hooves and a long barbed tail. And a forked tongue! I think he even destroyed downtown Tokyo. He eats babies for dessert. His favorite drink is the sweet sweet tears of orphans, collected by demonic forces who poke the orphans with pitchforks while sodomizing them for maximum tear output.

Biden, to paraphrase, said in a national TV interview that he wouldn’t travel on any “confined” vehicle with other people during the swine flu outbreak–to include, trains, subways, airplanes, etc. Essentially it was a typical Biden “d’oh” statement, and Fox has been eating it up ever since.

i kind of like joe too. i think he’d be great as a neighbor or maybe even a boss; and while he’s got a bad case of mouth-in-mouth disease, as a president (knock on wood) at least he doesn’t have the reputation of gerald ford: too dumb to walk and chew gum at the same time. plus he speaks in real words and not some made up mish-mash pidgen

Luna 7 (E-6 series) was an unmanned space mission of the Luna program, also called Lunik 7. The Luna 7 spacecraft was intended to achieve a soft landing on the Moon. However, due to premature retrofire and cutoff of the retrorockets, the spacecraft impacted the lunar surface in Oceanus Procellarum.
Unlike its predecessors, Luna 7 successfully carried out its midcourse correction on October 5 on the way to the Moon, in anticipation of a soft-landing two days later. Unfortunately, immediately prior to planned retro-fire during the approach to the lunar surface, the spacecraft suddenly lost attitude control and failed to regain it. Automatic programmed systems then prevented the main engine from firing. As controllers observed helplessly, Luna 7 plummeted to the lunar surface at a very high speed, crashing at 22:08:24 UT on October 7, 1965, west of the Kepler crater, relatively near the actual intended target. Impact coordinates were 9°N 49°W. Later investigation indicated that the optical sensor of the astronavigation system had been set at the wrong angle and had lost sight of Earth during the critical attitude-control maneuver. It was the tenth consecutive failure in the Ye-6 program.
