My “unique perspective” on Christianity is just that: a perspective. Just because it doesn’t agree with yours gives you no right to castigate me for it. And she called me a coward for being able to gently state my views as opposed to running in guns blazing and telling people they’re going to hell. I’ve stated my political and religious views numerous times in the past, there is no need to belabor them. I can’t help it that she (and you, apparently) have no concept of situational ethics and how to act in a crowd.

I do not use “extreme right-wing” as a smear any more than I do “extreme left-wing”. I may use it as a descriptive to indicate someone with further right- and left-wing tendencies than I have, but that’s hardly derogatory as you’re making it out to be.

And as far as being able to cite your actual positions, you’ll have to give me a while on those, as your positions were stated so far back in the past of your posting as to be nearly impossible to find. The only thing I’ve been able to find of you over the last three months of you posting is insults and derogatory statements, however, your close association with Anniee and constant “downing” of anything done by left-wingers is pretty indicative of your political stance.

“Extreme right-wing” could just be “code” for “more right wing than I”. In Eddie’s case, he’s a little more moderate, so it stands to reason that extreme right-wing would be quite a bit further away from him than it would be from me. Of course, you’re bumped up so close to extreme right-wing that you can’t look at it without it’s eyes seeming to meld into either one or three, depending on your focus.

Extreme right wing doesn’t bother me as bad as two faced Benedict Arnolds who say one thing to get elected and then immediately forget what they said. At least the extreme right wing has a definite platform to stand on, whether you completely agree with it or not. The shambles we have now are the problem.

The main problem with the conservatives of today is that they have no credibility, and it’s their fault. They preach about smaller government, lower taxes, less spending, and responsibility, and then when they get to Washington they turn into the tax-and-spend Republicans that we have today. All for a little job security. If we had term limits, it would be less of a problem, considering that it’s possible that the next term could “fix” what the previous term did.
