So you think the system is stacked, but there’s no macro way to effect a change. What’s the point? (And what about Obama’s hope and change motto? People who identify as ‘right wing’ or ‘Republican’ in America are stinging from a defeat, feeling maybe like their country has become something they don’t understand and don’t like. I remember feeling that way when Bush got elected, but you know something? I’ve never in my life voted for someone I thought was going to change things. Always the ‘lesser of two evils’ situation, you know?

I want to see the American Dream work, I want everyone who works hard to have a fair shot, and I want everyone here to have the opportunity to believe that hard work will get you a comfortable life in America. You also just called me a troll, so much for pleasant conversation. However, I’m perfectly able to compartmentalize and multitask – I can have 3 or 4 separate conversations with you and depending on the topic and your behavior they may be pleasant and they may not be.

I already have plenty of such places; which vary in their guidelines and rules, and where I have plenty of friendly acquaintances and friends who share at least a core set of beliefs. Some are atheists, some are fundy Christians, some are moral and social conservatives and some are complete social/moral libertines – where we *all* converge is our devotion to the giuding principles of the Declaration, the Constitution, and a love of this country as it is meant to be, and rugged individualism. You as one of the frudenrat can’t comprehend that kind of devotion, which is tragic but I can’t let that bother me too much as it’s something that has to be dealt with firmly.

Now, as to this site, this is as far as comments, thus far, an unmoderated site which does not bar any particular viewpoint nor moderate arguments among members. If you do not like my presence here, that is tough luck for you – I happen to enjoy coming here, I enjoy some of the captions, I enjoy tweaking hard leftists and their stupid captions, and so on and so forth. You’re just going to have to get used to it. It takes all kinds of people to make a world, I like this place, and intend to come around. Until this site it moderated and becomes a leftist domain, it is not one no matter how much you proclaim it to be. Just gonna have to learn to deal. Or perhaps you could enjoy the friendlier conversations we are able to have and you might notice that if you stop throwing so many stones (I realize you don’t understand now how many you throw, and how unprovoked, but you do) you just might find those the majority of conversations.
