When Paul first married Heather and I saw her picture, I was struck by the strong resemblance between Heather and Linda when she was younger. I thought at the time “Uh-oh…he’s trying to replace Linda with a younger lookalike. That’s not going to go well…” I didn’t think it was pretentious; I did think it was sad.

St. Louis was all abuzz when Paul went on his Route 66 trip and stopped here. It was like a celebrity had never been in town before or something. I guess you don’t see too many Beatles in town incognito. I saw him in concert during his Back in the US tour. That was one of the highlights of my life for sure.

I also agree that George is frequently underrated, but how can anyone hate on Paul?! AND he married Heather Mills after an appropriate length of time following the death of his wife who, by all accounts, he was faithful too. If you’re going to call him a narcissist for marrying a younger chick you’ll have to include a lot of people in that. A lot of guys want to, it’s just that Paul has the money and status to do it.
