    Putin on the ritz.

When I worked as a server at Red Lobster, we had a hostess who was a tiny, demure lady. When she had to seat difficult customers who were demanding only the ‘best’ (read total *sshats) she had ‘grace and dignity’. Except that meant she would walk by the servers whilst giving the bird under her chin as if gently soothing/scratching her throat. We knew what to expect from ‘these’ customers. Thanks Judy.

  5. Ellie says:

Actually…I know how to for reals flip someone off in Russian :3

    • I scare my friends. says:

That’s nice. I wish I had that knowledge back in ’73. I had to resort to a really old-school technique. I can’t say the whole bit here because I’ll get moderated. My point is, you need to know how to flip someone off properly so you don’t end up like me 40 years ago.

    • l8st8 says:

      oh how?

      • meoot says:

hold up your fist with your thumb inserted between your index and middle fingers and show it like you’re flipping someone off.

        • Ellie says:

Yeah, it’s pretty much the “I got your nose~” gesture.

          • Captain Wow says:

I had a sociology book Freshman year (HS) that talked about differences in gestures as far as cultures go. The example, I sh!t you not was a thumbs up. Caption: This means “Good Job” in America, in some (can’t remember which) tribes it means “I’m going to kill you”.

        • SickFak says:

It’s not “flipping off”, it means “u can’t have any”. Actually children use it.

  6. Czernobog says:

The difference is that when Putin gives you the finger, he’s actually showing you what he plans to kill you with.

  7. goldencalf says:
