What do you expect, in US “the world” mean US and maybe Canada.

While Stalin is undoubtedly one of the worst by any measure, 20 millions is still less than 10% of the population and some have managed to kill even larger percentages and I think they are worse still even the amount of deaths is smaller.

One example is Pol Pot, about 20% population killed while he was in charge, just 18 years.

I don’t know many people who think Bush was the worst leader to ever have lived, they say that he was one of the worst presidents ever, and there’s plenty of proof for that. I can make generalization about Republicans too. You like Christian terrorism and criticize Muslim terrorism, when you are practically as bad as them. You aren’t even good Christians because you abhor his teachings such as helping the poor and sick, learning to love your neighbor and you never listen to the verse that says blessed are the peacemakers. All you do is complain about taxes that save lives, praise taxes that take them(that cost more e.g. the war) and all you do is worship capital punishment. Nobody cares what you have to say anymore. We all know you are racist and selfish. Now shut up.

Hitler was a piker when it comes to true mass slaughter. Stalin was the true winner in the general Slaughter department, followed fairly closely by Mao Tse Tung. Mao’s claim to fame doesn’t come from direct butchery, however. His was a starry-eyed attempt to run a country as a proletarian utopia. Stalin was just an anti-social Socialist (heh). However, had Hitler actually had better luck (or better sense) and either waited a year to attack the USSR (the winter of 1942 was brutal) or done it a year earlier before Stalin had a chance to round up or promote all the generals that he’d executed over the previous 10 years, Hitler would have, in all likelyhood, out-stalinned Stalin.

But he didn’t, and the gold medal for most people killed for no good reason to the Genocidal Georgian, ol’ Joe Stalin (with great support from Yagoda, Yezhov, and Beria (the first two Stalin did in, and the last, smarter than the other two, saw the writing on the wall and slipped ol’ Joe a mickey to beat all Mickeys).

Why Jimmy Carter? James Buchanan’s policy, or lack thereof, in admission of Kansas to the Union as a ‘slave’ state, caused a split in the American electorate between Democratic South and Democratic North, which inevitably lead to a civil war when Republican Abe Lincoln was elected 2 years later.

BTW. Back then Democrats were for ‘state’s rights’ and less government interference, while the Republicans wanted a larger role of the federal government as opposed to states rights. Crazy how they are almost the exact opposite now.

If you had REALLY done any homework YOU would know that Prescott Bush was not a Nazi nor a Nazi sympathizer. He had business ties with a man who was a Nazi but was arrested by the Nazi regime in 1938 and imprisoned for the duration of WWII. For some reason I’m remembering the numbers to be around 80-90 million Native Americans dead as a direct/indirect result of our invasion. I can’t back that up though.

the point is killing 30k bad guys per year is not a bad idea, more now just die in traffic without a reason. If population is growing and you get rid of a trash. If you see “20M own people killed” – bingo! You just figure another brain washed.
I cant say this is surprising. It’s a common practice – take a nation or civilization(I guess Russians are a civilization not a nation) and draw a bloody stupid barbarian. That’s how you can manipulate your crowd. Once Europeans draw barbarians of Arabs in order to sake them ) But at that time they themselves where barbarians compared to Arabs – no culture, no science.
Now the same trick is applied to Russians – to sake them as well )

almost no personal transport! but good public transport system.
Production of truck was about production of automobiles. in 65 there was triumph of nation and many goals ahead – no need to drink vodka.

The closest I can come is the “Highland Clearances” when thousands of small tennant farmers were semi-forcibly expariated to North America to free up their land for sheep farming, but that didn’t make the sheep into carnivores, or mean that the people were eaten!
