I think this is the husband of a vet who were rescuing animals during katrina, it was a show on animal planet.
That’s not true. These are his girlfriend’s cats named Bender and Fry. He is rescuing them from the flood in Oregon.

i learned that really big people in little cars don’t mix well. so when i saw this 400lb butch woman in a smart car the other day, all i could think about was mr. incredible and his teeny tiny car.
I got cut off in traffic the other day by a car that I swear to you couldn’t have weighed more than 200lbs. It looked like that little car on the commercial with the rats riding in it (went blank on the name)….all of the little rats are grooving to the music because they are cooler than their other rat buddies in less cool cars…….only, the car was about half the size of the one in the commercial. It was a two-seater. It looked like a Segway with a top. And it cut me off as I drove my gas guzzling SUV. I think they wanted to die.
Suicide is too complicated now days. This sort of thing used to be civil. You write a note jump out a window downtown. DONE. Nice note to your family. Not much mess to clean up. Now these losers want to include damage to other’s vechicles? I should kill. . . oh, right.

i also drive a giant SUV (sue me) and have been cut off by smart cars going a good 15mph slower than me. it’s GOT to be a death wish… it’s a good thing i get my brakes checked regularly or else they’d basically just be a speed bump on my way into work.

Shortright, it was actually shorter and a little taller than that.
(I mean shorter from front to back, not from bottom to top. It was VERY VERY short front to back, and almost the same height as a regular car. It was ugly. LIke I said, rather like a Segway with a top.

I know what you’re talking about froo, I’ve seen a few of them around here and they make golf carts look like tanks in comparison.
You see those every where over here. I’ve even seen them on the freeway cruising along at 100/kmh. I wouldn’t mind having one for zipping around the city, but I damn sure wouldn’t get out on the highway in one. I could run over this thing in my VW and it would barely cause a thump (not unlike going over a speed bump).
That Daewoo is about twice the size of the car I’m thinking about here.
The SMART car is incredibly small, and the only way you would catch me in one is dead. I can’t see how those things can be street legal.

Actually, I don’t see any racist comments here. I don’t see the any mention of looting, just that the man in the back of the picture is carrying some miscellaneous items instead of animals. I have no reason to think those items belong to anyone other than the man carrying them.
It may be an interesting note on the socioeconomic strata of America that the white man’s stuff (presumably) is already safe, so he can worry about his cats, while the black man is forced to carry whatever he can in an old cardboard box. What I see is two men carrying things important to them to save them from a natural disaster.
Maybe the white guy’s wife already packed up their stuff from home. Maybe he hasn’t even gotten to his house, but nabbed the cats from the vet’s office/animal shelter so he can keep them safe.
