i’d say you’re right on with that paws – i’ve been trying to get my dad to watch it for years and he flat out refuses because it is a cartoon

probably the same (or similar) reason why john stewart can push so hard in his interviews, people come on with the notion it’s just a comedy show but he’s had some fantastic interviews on that show in the past.

if you actually watch South Park you’d see they make very valid political and cultural statements that are both highly relevant and push the boundaries and question what is considered acceptable in our modern day life. in short, it forces us to question the morality and justice of ourselves and those around us. it’s actually quite deep.
