Oh Lord, please let my suffering end!
You mean you want to die?
No, I want you to leave the room.

Damn..so much for a flame free day

  2. Smithers! Erase a “d” from off his name!

  3. JustIgnoreMe says:

I see we still haven’t finished bashing Palin yet…..

    Don’t you people have lives?

  4. TS Atomic says:

I think you’d have to hunt pretty hard to find U.S. troops who wouldn’t fight each other for a chance to have a brief meeting with Palin. They love her! (and who doesn’t?)

On the contrary, springing Obama on unprepared troops might unintentionally induce anaphylactic shock in most anyone under O-6 due to the stress created when the mind over-rides the body’s natural desire to slap some sense into a socialist who desperately needs it.

    • Lefty says:

      “and who doesn’t?”
Don’t ask such questions here at PK.

Also, I understand that you’re being a cheap douche. I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish but Massengill mild vinegar and water douches are one of the cheapest douches of all time. OF ALL TIME.

      • wombot says:

LOL. I think the Republicans might be in a little bit of denial over the fact that Obama is actually doing pretty dam well.

        • Lefty says:

          Don’t say that either.

Listen peoples! It’s quite clear that most people have different definitions of what constitutes “doing pretty well” and “fu(king everything up” in regards to the current president, so let’s just try to remain objective here.

Sheesh. *sprays Troll-B-Gone as preventative measure (bitter, you’re welcome though)*

        • Semperfidd says:

Really? How about that unemployment rate. Oh and don’t forget how much more in debt we are over the last 9 months. Just wait until the tax increases come :o ) Yup..he is doing great alright. Hmmm…I must appologize. If you are a socialist you probably think he is doing great and I would have to agree with you if that is the direction you wish to go in.

          • Justacarolinian says:

*sigh* These screen protectors are getting expensive.

          • The Steve says:

The unemployment rate and the national debt were in great shape before inauguration day.

            *rolls eyes*

            • Semperfidd says:

Didn’t say they were in great shape before Obama. Last I check they were oh about 2% and 1 trillion more.

              *rolls eyes*

              • The Steve says:

The majority of the stimulus funds remain to be spent…but a trillion is a nice round number, and it sounds cool. I’ll allow it.

                • Semperfidd says:

Why not make it two? or three? It is only about $7,000 per working person plus interest of course. But you and I wont have to worry too much about it. Our kids and their kids will pay for it.

                • Semperfidd says:

So if the majority of the funds have not been spent, then why was it so crucial to pass the stimulu package to keep the economy from going down the tubes? What happened to all the shovel ready projects and jobs it was supposed to create?

                  • Actually, three of the people I know who’ve been looking for full time jobs for a while got hired in the past month, so we’re at least seeing a little employment uptick here.

                    • Rando the Floydist says:

Same here. The store where I work, which is the only anchor store left in Mall-tanic and has been the subject of CONSTANT closing rumors since I started, has quite suddenly started aggressively hiring new people. And these are permanent, not seasonal workers. We, the cynical employees, are waiting to see how this pans out, but it is encouraging.

                      • Semperfidd says:

I hope that it does work out. My wife’s company has seen some improvement in some industries as far as hiring increasing. I don’t think anyone is saying that the economy will not get better. I think the argument is when and how much better. Most of the people on the right think that the economy would improve faster and stronger without the government intervention.

                  • Semperfidd says:

I see your point. I am in Las Vegas. Our unemployment is above 14% now. I am in the construction industry. Needless to say the construction industry is not doing so well. Perception is reality. We are both right :o ) On a side note, Im of the opinion the Bush tarp money was a bunch of crap as well as there are no banks in my part of the country loaning money to businesses.

                    • Justacarolinian says:

Glad to hear you say that, (or see you type that) as Bush is just as guilty as Obama on the spending. Obama has spent more than all other presidents combined, mind you. But he wouldn’t have been able to do a lot of that if Bush hadn’t set the pace for it in the first place.

                      • Semperfidd says:

I will admit Bush/congress was stupid with the TARP money but I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it gave a green light for Obama/congress to approve the stimulus package.

                      • Justacarolinian says:

Well Semper, it’s kind of like a kid getting that first button open on the blouse. You may not make 2nd base that day, but it gets her used to the idea of having it undone.

                      • ay dios mio says:

                        Best. Analogy. EVAR.

                  • Semperfidd says:

And I will say that one of the industries that is doing well is the federal government. From what I hear they are doing quite a bit of hiring. Go figure.

                    • Nailin Pailin says:

In the minds of many Republicons, Obama could never do a good job, under any circumstances, because he’s black.

                      • Semperfidd says:

Hi my name is Nailin Pailin and I’m a troll

                        “Hi Nailin Pailin”

Now follow the 12 steps. The first being “go away”.

                      • Justacarolinian says:

No, he could do a good job. He just refuses too. Not because he is black, but rather because he has an agenda to remake America in his image. Oh, and I’m no Republican. And you don’t pull of the race card any better than Farrakhan.

Hey, anyone got some fabric softener sheets? The socks are getting ridiculous today.

                      • Dhoti says:

That’s a good generalization and I’mma let you finish, but comparing Republicans to Nazis was the best generalization of all time, yo.

                      • Shaq says:

In the minds of many democrats, Bush did a horrible job, because he is a Texan. Makes just as much sense. It doesn’t matter what color he is, he even said before the election he didn’t think the civil rights movement did enough in the way of wealth redistribution. What’s that supposed to mean? I think we are begining to find out and many people are not liking it, including independents.

                      • Rando the Floydist says:

                        OF ALL TIME! *snort*

                  • Corb-masta-flex says:

Very good retort steve, let me continue where you left off….

I’m no economist (i just take the classes :P ) but I’ve noticed a few things too…. Everyone from my hometown is up in arms about unemployment and the recession, BUT, every Friday, Saturday and even Sunday, our bars are PACKED. Why is it they say they don’t have jobs to get money for things like food and rent but we can still get wasted 3 or more days out of the week? The same applies for cigarettes…. they “can’t pay the rent” but they can smoke their lungs out.

                    • jesh says:

The same was true in the Great Depression. Movie houses and industries like music flourished. Isn’t it odd? Unemployment is high, people claim not to have enough money, and yet terrible movies are still raking in millions of dollars at the box office…it’s sad, really, where our priorities seem to lie.

            • Shaq says:

And they haven’t budged a bit since then except in a upward direction…

              • The Steve says:

You expected a magic eraser? We should have voted for Mr. Clean.

                • Shaq says:

He could at least make some moves in the direction of fixing things, instead of full bore in the other direction, ie spending like a crazy man. Is he trying to out do Bush?

                  • Semperfidd says:

                    He already did.

                  • Semperfidd says:

Come on Shaq. You know the only way to get out of debt is to spend your way out. On a personal note, I have working on that same strategy lately. It is not working out so great right now but I am sure it will eventually. It’s going to work for the government right????

                    • Shaq says:

I had been working my butt off trying to pay off all my debt, I guess I have actually been HURTING my country!! I never would have thought that…

                  • Rando the Floydist says:

You don’t get out of a recession by becoming financially frugal. And don’t say tax cuts, because that’s not gonna help enough, or help the right people. And cutting spending in the government now would be suicide. Do we really need government employees losing jobs and raising the unemployment rate even more?

                    • Semperfidd says:

So you think the economy is better off by spending it on a few select companies that do work for the government (state and local) than in the hands of the public who are more likely to spend money at the store you work at and many more stores? People are not spending money right now because they are afraid of how much they are going to have to pony up to the government, small businesses especially. IMO that most businesses are waiting until the end of the year for the other shoe to drop to see how much less money they are going to have to invest in their business because of higher taxes, insurance penalties, and any other retroactive policies that the curren administration is going to impliment. Several of the contractors that work for me had to back pay Cobra insurance money to employees they laid off in Sept 08 when it was passed by congress in January 09. Business are scared about what is to come I think.

                      • Rando the Floydist says:

I think we’ve seen that tax cuts alone aren’t going to get people spending. As for small businesses, that I don’t have an answer to, but I don’t think either party has ever shown much respect to them.

                        • My company just spent on upwards of over 3 million on a line of new trucks to haul freight… why? Because we have things to haul now… why? Because people are spending again. I’m in a business that’s ahead of the curve as far as the economy goes, more so than even the economists. I can SEE when things are picking up, and the fact that our business has picked up, and that we haul things nationwide, is a good indicator that things are picking up. I think the reason you won’t see a lot of increase in the spending as far as construction goes is the fact that part of the economic crash we had was from REAL ESTATE. There’s enough empty buildings from people going bankrupt so that construction won’t pick back up until we not only come out of the recession fully, but begin to expand economically again.

                    • Shaq says:

It’s the way I get out of a personal recession, pay off my debts and tighten my belt. Why doesn’t it work for the government? It’s what we did when Clinton was in office and he balanced the budget.

                      • watched the news today says:

Clinton was dragged kicking and screaming by the Republican congress into balancing the budget. He was afraid that cutting his $16 billion stimulus package would send the economy into recession. You remember he said “we can balace the budget anytime, in 5 years, in 7 years, in 9 years…the budget was balanced but Clinton had nothing to do with it.

                        • bitter troll says:

pretty sure i dont remember the video of anyone dragging clinton kicking and screaming anywhere….cept that one..and that was hillary..was so funny the way she had him by the hair screaming” THAT FAT CHICK?? IN THE OVAL OFFICE?? “

                        • The Steve says:

I love how when something good happens under the opposing party, that opposing party had nothing to do with it, but if something bad happens, it’s all their fault, damn them to hell.

Saying Clinton had nothing to do with the budget surplus is just a blatant lie, it couldn’t have passed without his signature, period.

          • Nailin Palin says:

Anyone with an even rudimentary knowledge of economics knows that the unemployment rate lags an improving economy, so that is a leftover from Incompetent Bush. The deficit doubled during the Bush Administration, and Republicans were silent about it then, so it’s “interesting” that they only became hysterical about it the day a non-white, non-Republican entered the White House. Of course, the truth is, if you are a fascist, nothing Obama could ever do would be okay, no matter how good, partly due to his party, and a lot due to his race.

            • Semperfidd says:

“Anyone with an even rudimentary knowledge of economics knows that the unemployment rate lags an improving economy, so that is a leftover from Incompetent Bush”

So when is it going to stop rising? And during the last two years the congress was democratically controled. Why do they not get any credit for the crappy economy?

“The deficit doubled during the Bush Administration, and Republicans were silent about it then”

Not true. There were several people pretty pissed off about the Tarp money and other increases in spending that Bush did. Maybe not in your narrow sighted world though.

“Of course, the truth is, if you are a fascist, nothing Obama could ever do would be okay, no matter how good, partly due to his party, and a lot due to his race.”

Also not true. Obama could lose the next election and that would be fine. Seriously though, your constant babble about racisim only purpetuates it. How many black senators does the left have in office? One out of 59. What a bunch of racists

              • Rando the Floydist says:

The economy is starting to turn around. Companies won’t start hiring again until they’re starting to make some more money. Nailin Pailin is right.

                • Semperfidd says:

I don’t disagree with that statement. Yes companies will start hiring when they start making some more money. The question is when and if they will make more money.

                  • Rando the Floydist says:

The numbers seem to be rebounding. My meager researching hasn’t pulled any numbers on it (and it’s not all that worth it to me to do the research for a LOL site), but from what I’ve heard we’re heading towards recovery. Clearly that hasn’t reached down to all of us. Obama has said 2010 for employment recovery. We’ll see.

    • JustIgnoreMe says:

    • Rando the Floydist says:

      I don’t.

      • Let’s see there’s Eddie, Charlie, Semperfidd, My brother, Jane’s Brother… and probably a few others who just haven’t mentioned it yet.
I didn’t have to hunt very hard, so you take your trolling elsewhere so others can mock you, we have too many here to get to all of you…
sgt – ass out, mouth open…

      • How many are you looking for? I know of four right off the top of my head. Is that enough?

      • Rando the Floydist says:

Actually, due to being partially deaf in my left ear (that not even surgery last year cured), I don’t think I’d be allowed in even if I wanted.

Wow. What a mature and thoughtful person you are.

      • Rando the Floydist says:

Who’s a socialist? Certainly not Obama. You conservatives apparently have no idea what true socialism is. If Obama is too much for you, then the real thing would make you poop your pants.
Yes, I said “poop your pants.” I don’t regret it.

        • Shaq says:

He took our stimulus money, that came from our taxes, and gave it to Brazil so they can drill baby drill and become energy independent. What are we getting for it? Zero. That is called global socialism, income redistribution is what he’s all about. Oh, the Chinese sent money to Brazel, what are they getting back for it? Oil. He won’t be happy until we are all eating grasshoper and slugs from protein and living in grass huts. Yes, he’s a socialist.

          • Shaq says:

            for protein, not from protein

          • Rando the Floydist says:

Silly Shaq. That’s not socialism. It’s a bad investment. What would Obama gain from making us all eat grasshoppers and slugs? He’s not NEARLY liberal enough to be socialist. Again, you have no idea what true socialism is.

    • ElbieSee says:

What’s with the influx of trolls here lately? Are the PK Goats on vacation this week?

Gone to many Teabagger protests? You’d fit in well there.

  6. ubr says:

can someone please inform the media and the gop that this woman could be the death of all mankind?

and one thing i’ve been holding in for quite a while… the gop used to stand for ethics and hard working americans. i cannot believe that she did not find quitting the post of governor to be morally reprehensible. i don’t care what your political bent is, but if you quit a job that you were elected to you should not be able to run for any elected position again. ever.

    • Semperfidd says:

So she is the face of the GOP now? Ok. All the democrats are tax cheats and sex addicts. Cool.. I like this game. Next.

      • ubr says:

name two people in the gop…
according to the media the answers are:
        1. rush limbaugh
        2. sarah palin

come up with some better ideas…

        • Semperfidd says:

Which media outlet is that? The Huffington Post or the newspapers that want to be funded by the US government?

Name two people in the democratic party…
          1. Bill Maher
          2. Charley Wrangle

We could go on and on like this. My point was that I think it is
          1. stupid
          2. getting old

To state/assume that Palin is the face of the GOP. And that would hold true for Rush Limbaugh.

Find some new material. If you want to be truthful, most of the people representing the republican party right now are a bunch of ass wipes and need to grow some balls.

          • wallFly says:

semper – i agree it’s getting old, i’d prefer never to have to see or listen to her again, but she keeps pushing herself out there. As Ubr said, she was elected and given the responsiblity to govern, she shirked those abilities for no apparent good reason at all. She should be banished (for lack of a better word) from the political playing field and removed fully and completely from any and all news coverage. She’s a disgrace. What’s upsetting is some people still think she ought to run for president, and to them, she is the face of the republican party.

I get the feeling Libaugh is more the face of it than anything and I find that rather frightening as racist, violent and generally unpleasant as he can be (then again, this might just be because of the republicans I work and speak to on a daily basis, so my view there is probably biased).

I just hope the republican party can swing itself away from the crazies on the religious extreme and find themselves again as a party that makes sense.

            Anyway.. that’s all :)

            • Semperfidd says:

Will someone please cite for me something that says Sarah Palin is running for some government office or has said that she is going to run for some government office. I am pretty sure she is not requesting to be tore up in the news media. She quit two months ago. I think if she had her choice she and her family would opt out of the media coverage they are getting. I dont know what her reason for quiting her job is, but if it were a question of her family or marrige vs her job then I think she made the choice I would have made. My wife and kids are much more important to me than any job that I have.

As for Limbaugh, calling him the face of the GOP is just a bunch of left talking points crap and you know it. He does have the most popular radio talk show but he does not make policy and more than Bill Mahre can. Yes he has said and done some stupid stuff. That makes him all the better a target for the left to say he is the “typical republican”. And can you cite for me where Rush has been shown to be a racist and violent?

“I just hope the republican party can swing itself away from the crazies on the religious extreme and find themselves again as a party that makes sense”

Another talking point generalization that you on the left like to toss out there. Maybe the left can swing itself away from the communists and find themselves again as a party that makes sense. See how it works?

              • wallFly the cookie thrower says:

kind of Semper, but the problem is the right is and has been overrun with the evangelical right, there’s no arguing it unless you’re just hiding from it – look at all their moralily panels or whatever they’re called that try to create committees for a moral life based on their christian standards. (i’ll find a few of these to cite for you, but it’ll have to wait, i gotta log off in just a sec).

as for palin – after she left she still has a political action committtee, she still does her speeches at various places and she just recently (this week) done her political “have a dinner date with palin” thing. she wants the coverage – she wants the money.

but for limbaugh, i still don’t see how that’s not a bad statement to make – at least in this area, his points of view are supported quite prevalently.

but, as i mentioned – i have to run. semper, always nice discussing things with you – i appreciate that you don’t take (or make) things personal.
                ;)

              • SemperGunny says:

“She quit two months ago. I think if she had her choice she and her family would opt out of the media coverage they are getting.”

I agree! And the fact she was in the news again while she traveled the country giving repeated speeches out ‘death panels’ was totally not her fault! Why can’t they just leave her alone???

          • Begoniac says:

Bill Maher considers himself a libertarian, not a Democrat.

          • ubr says:

cnn, msnbc, and even fox talk about rush and palin like they are the prominent leaders of the republican party… i challenged you to name two other republicans who you hear more news about… that’s why the statement is “according to the media”. the only other republican you hear much about is bobby jindal…

as for rush not being violent or a racist… a quick wiki search will settle all of that for you… no need for us to cite anything…

and as for sarah palin running in 2012… there has been a lot of rumor about her doing just that. some people thought that she ditched the governor’s office to start her campaign, others have said that she left her post because she was fed up with the media barrage. now having reviewed both arguments i doubt that she left because of the media since she still gives press conferences against the policies of the obama administration… in short, she’s a loon. next.

            • Rando the Floydist says:

Yeah, for real. If she didn’t like how she’s been treated by the gotcha media, why is she still out there making news? Shouldn’t she be taking it easy in Alaska with her family if she didn’t like being in the limelight anymore?

              • Semperfidd says:

You have a point there about Palin not avoiding the media. I will definately concede to that. It could also be a way for her to pay off the $500,000 in legal bills she has from the bullchit lawsuits that were filed against her as I am sure she is getting paid very well to speak at these events.

            • Semperfidd says:

My humble appologies. I forgot you believe everything you hear from the current administration.

“On March 1, 2009 CBS’s Face the Nation asked White House Chief Of Staff Rahm Emanuel who he thought represented the Republican Party; Emanuel named Limbaugh as his choice.”

As for the “violence” I did a quick wiki search and did not find anything of note that would make someone believe that he is violent so I assume Rahm must have told you that so again I appologize.

As for Palin, I agree with what you said however I would add that there is a good chance that she is doing the speaches to make money. Oh, and I don’t think she is a loon.

      • Nailin Palin says:

Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh are the obvious, and generally accepted, face of the Republican Party at this time. What a sad state for the Republican Party: represented by a narcissistic, money-grubbing, pathological liar, and a sex-pervert drug addict.

    • Mina says:

As far as being the death of all mankind- not so sure about that.

However you have a very valid point. Trying to run for any elected position after you’ve quit one should be considered the equivalent of walking out of any other job and trying to get rehired at the same company.

      • Semperfidd says:

I agree Mina. What elected position is she running for?

        • ubr says:

haven’t you heard? she wants to be president in 2012…

          • Mina says:

Yes, because the ’08 election worked out so well for her. Personally, I would take this time to focus on dealing with my familyand their issues. But that’s just me.

          • Nailin Palin says:

It is widely believed, by many Republicans inside the party and various conservative pundits, including neocon standard bearer William Kristol, that Palin is seriously considering a run for president, either in 2012 or 2016.

In truth, Palin had virtually no “practical” government experience of any kind, as she did little work herself, and depended on her cronies to do her work while she preened in front of audiences and napped in her tanning bed.

            • bitter troll says:

meh no one cares about experience or intellegence, or even the ability to do the job

look at McCain, he is still in office and no one says jack bout him

            • Outback Jon says:

As opposed to all the “practical” government experience that Obama had? Oh yeah, I forgot, he did vote “Present” on several occasions.

  8. Malcolm R says:

One thing the creator of this pic failed to consider is, Ms Palin is actually very popular with the troops and we appreciate her. Also, as an aside, how many of you have visited or done anything for an injured soldier? This website should be ashamed for picking this photo to be posted.

    • Lefty says:

Shame?! Here at PK?! HAHAHAHAHAHA. You’re new here, aren’t you?

      • Sheesh says:

The only thing sacred here is Obama and all Democrats- everything else is fair game.

        • I think even our far-lefty contributors would agree that it’s ALWAYS open season on Nancy Pelosi and Rahm Emmanuel.

        • Rando the Floydist says:

Obama is not sacred. Neither are the Democrats. NOBODY is sacred. But if you’re gonna make fun of them, at least be funny. I’ve written a number of bipartisan LOLs in my day making fun of both Democrats and Republicans. Emmanuel is fun to rip on as that dude always looks like he’s up to something. And Pelosi has been nothing short of an embarrassment. There are other Democrats we like to bash too, like Edwards, Blago, etc. The major sleazeballs. And even we Democrats enjoy taking a few pot shots at the Clintons (either one). They don’t make it to the front page often enough, but bipartisan LOLs do exist, Sheesh. They do.

    • The Steve says:

I donate to the disabled veterans twice a year. We also took up a collection at work for an injured local policeman/soldier who returned from Iraq. In total we raised almost $500. It’s not much, but it’s something.

Aside from that, the picture is supposed to be FUNNY. It’s a JOKE. You’re supposed to laugh! If you think the military is too serious to laugh about, then PK is probably not the best website for you.

    • *raises hand*

Of course that was over 30 years ago in a far-flung part of the world. Since then, I used to make regular visits to the local VA hospital. I can’t anymore since I’m now an ex-pat.

And don’t assume anything about the people that post here based on one picture. I can imagine that there are plenty of people that help other’s, and not just the soldiers.

    • SemperGunny says:

Speak for yourself, Malcolm… some of us ‘troops’ would actually choose brains over boobs and are about as fonda Palin as we are of Fonda.

And my USMC / Army family has made several trips to the Wounded Warrior Barracks and helped out with fundraisers on numerous occasions, as well.

The picture is funny (mildly, I’ll admit) and there is no ‘shame’ in viewing it.

  9. The Steve says:

If she really wanted to make him feel better she would take her top off.

    I’m just sayin’

  10. VictoryNotVengeance says:

Lol! He’s saying that the pain he must be feeling is less than the pain of her actual presence! I get it!

I mean…. its only mildly funny…. but I get it.

    • Semperfidd says:

      Thank you Captain Obvious.

      • VictoryNotVengeance says:

Well i figured you would be one of the ones who couldn’t grasp the concept. Just giving you a hand. And just think, this will be the first time it hasn’t been the back of one you’ve been getting!

        • I thought it was about her voice (which, no matter what your political leanings, can be annoying.

        • Semperfidd says:

I would have thought your explanation would have gone something like this- He is in pain due to the fact that he thought by joining the military he would only be stationed here in the United States to help defend his nation from attacks only on his own soil by way of negotiations and hugs. Instead, he found out that the corporate CEO’s are using him to create conflict in the world so they can sell more weapons and get paid massive amounts of money that the government should take from them and give to the lower class to help raise the lower class to the middle class and to help eliminate the upper class completely. Palins presence at his bedside only helps to confirm that this is true based on the amount of money corporate america donated to Palin for her to spend on a wardrobe during her run for the vice presidency thus causing him the pain of realizing his life would have been much better spend fighting corporate america instead of fighting for them.

          • VictoryNotVengeance says:

But thats not funny at all…

            • Semperfidd says:

Just summing up what I believe are your beliefs that you have stated over the last couple of weeks. No thanks needed.

              • VictoryNotVengeance says:

Well, a majority of things you stated were either taken out of context, you putting words in my mouth, or you being very selective about how you would like to restate it. In other words, anyone interested in my beliefs would do much better off reading what I wrote, than reading your poorly created Cliffs Notes.

                • Semperfidd says:

So you don’t belive in getting rid of the upper class? And don’t believe that corporate america is bad? and dont believe that our military should only be for defensive purposes only? And that war is primarily purpetuated to make those that have richer?

                • Isildo says:

Actually I thought it sounded pretty accurate, if ferociously condensed.

                  1) The military is for defending the USA from attacks only on our own soil by way of negotiations and hugs.

                  2) Corporate CEO’s create conflict in the world so they can sell more weapons and get paid massive amounts of money

                  3) The government should take that money from them and give it to the lower class to help raise the lower class to the middle class and to help eliminate the upper class completely.

                  4) Palins presence at his bedside only helps to confirm that this is true based on the amount of money corporate America donated to Palin for her to spend on a wardrobe during her run for the vice presidency.

                  5) His life would have been much better spend fighting corporate America instead of fighting for them.

Sounds about like what you’ve been saying for a while now, VNV.

I have shown plenty of ideas, but they were good, so you ignored them. I actually like letting you shoot off them mouth so everyone knows how big a psychotic nut job you are.

              • VictoryNotVengeance says:

Just like those points made above! Good job! I think you definitely speak for yourself. And I don’t know if I ignored you “ideas” of if they were so blended in with your hot button words that they really didn’t exist afterall.

Oh I would. What are they gonna do? Smirk at me? They are “public figures”. The best they can do is ignore me. Only if I -really- acted a fool by chasing them around shouting could they arrest me, and even then, thats the best they got. Its not like Palin is going to outwit me in front of a bunch of reporters. She can barely make sentences with a noun and a verb, -especially- in front of reporters. Don’t want any of that “gotcha” recording to happen.

    • Justacarolinian says:

So much for that respecting public office you were so adamant about a few posts back.

      • Ivan The Floydist says:

Ms. Palin is no longer a public office holder. She’s just a citizen. And I’d tell her what I thought too. Especially the aerial wolf hunting thing. Man, that burns my biscuits.

        • Semperfidd says:

“Oh I would. What are they gonna do? Smirk at me? They are “public figures”.”

Unless you are inffering Palin has multiple personalities and should be addressed as “they” then most people would assume that by “they” you ment public figures in general. Quit being such an ass.

        • Justacarolinian says:

My policy is calling hypocrite socks like you to the carpet. In state or out.

          • VictoryNotVengeance says:

            • Justacarolinian says:

God, you are just an idiot. And a willful one at that. I would help anyone out of state, but only at their behest. I don’t force my ideas on others. I don’t have a Feurher Messiah complex. If you don’t know what that is, look in the mirror.

Please , tell us all again about America purposefully waiting to join WWII so they could get rich selling weapons. Probably started the whole thing too. Right? I bet they even had an assassin start WWI too. The whole thing was a Karl Rove plot to make Cheney and Co rich.

Ok guys, gather around and listen. Get your hot dogs and marshmallows out for the flaming! This nut is interesting to listen too, if nothing.

What I do say is that I am online minding my business, when you, my personal troll, tries to pick a fight with me. I don’t care if you don’t like my politics, but since you don’t have any of your own, you should STFU and move on. Not try to respond to everything I say. I don’t respond when I see you say something. Most of the time its because you are not witty enough to respond to, or you are constantly “removing your screen cleaners”. I guess you have a problem with not spitting on your screen all the time? I don’t know, but that ain’t adding to the conversation either. And as I have said before, since you have -no- veiws on how to make the world a better place, and no “states rights” doesn’t cut it, just go post on lolcats or something.

And secondly, We were selling the Nazi’s gas, ammunition, metals, and anything else they would buy during the Spanish Civil War and during the first part of WWII. And then we started making huge loans to the allies after that. Who the hell do you think was making the money from all this? War -is- profitable for some people, and some of the people pushing to stay out of the war were pushing for us to stay out because it was making them lots of money. Now… since all you are gonna be able to respond to this is with “commie this, messiah that, and states rights” i suggest you got fu(k yourself!

                      • Justacarolinian says:

                      • VictoryNotVengeance says:

Thanks Rando! But what i was saying is that since you obviously cannot debate with someone who has no points, only buzz words, its best to ignore them. I was letting him know he would basically be ignored from now on, unless I see him actually say something worth responding to. And since he has already spit on his screen waiting to respond to this… i will go ahead and say… I will ignore him yet again.

    • HelOnWheels says:

Because it’s a photo-op. It’s fake! Palin doesn’t really care about the troops. They just grabbed some poor orderly in a Wasilla hospital, dressed him in Army surplus purchases and took the fake photo. Like the moon landing.

(off topic) Hey, what was the name of the official Corp bulldog?

          • Semperfidd says:

            Learn something new everyday. Thanks

In 1921, General Butler purchased a pedigree English bulldog, named “King Bulwark,” to become the official Quantico mascot. This breed was known for its fierce stocky body and tenacious temperament. The bulldog had been associated with the Marine Corps since a World War I recruiting poster depicted a bulldog perusing a German dachshund. The Marines’ tenacious fighting at Belleau Wood earned them the sobriquet “Teufel Hunden” or “Devil Dogs.”

“King Bulwark” was not considered to be an appropriate name for a Marine Mascot, so his name was changed to “Jiggs” after a popular personality in the cartoon strip “Maggie and Jiggs.” He was enlisted in the Marine Corps on 7 October 1922 and was issued a service record boo, a custom already in effect for mascots in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. General Butler himself signed Jiggs’ enlistment papers and appointed him a sergeant major. Jiggs received worldwide recognition and appeared at all sporting events where Marines played and everywhere else where his presence might draw public attention and enhance the morale and spirit of Marines. Many Marine athletic teams were called “Fighting Bulldogs.

After the death of the first Jiggs, on 7 January 1927, other canines carried on his name until as late as 1964. The “Chesty” dynasty took residence at Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C. by January 1972.

  35. Calico says:

Brain dead libtard comment. Why do you hate Sarah Palin? Because she stands for what is good and you are an Obama worshiping dispstick libtard? Get a clue, Palin will be our next president and will bring this country back after that jackass Obama ruins it.

    • Rando the Floydist says:

After Obama ruins it???? IT WAS ALREADY RUINED!! 8 years of Bush and this country is the laughing stock of the planet, and you think there’s something left to ruin? And I don’t want a woman who quit being governor of Alaska to decide she doesn’t want to be president anymore and just up and quit that too. Geez. If you worship her, then you’ve got problems, yo.

      • bad fairie says:

exactly. she had a contract with the people who elected her to fulfill her term and do the job she asked to do, but she quit when she didn’t get a dangled better offer. did she honestly believe that she’d be a shoe-in to the veep office and that she didn’t have to take her chances at the ballot box? if mccain’s handlers told her they were a shoe-in and she believed it, it only confirms her lack of judgment. and belies her previous experience as miss wasilla since she wasn’t chosen as miss alaska. did she ball and bat and go home then too?
life is the journey, not the destination, and she jumped off mid ride as far as i’m concerned.

      • Wile E Coyote says:

Yeah, but Obama was supposed to fix things and instead spent more in 6 months to accomplish nothing than Bush spent in 8 years.

        • The Steve says:

“Yeah, but..” where I live people are going back to work who were unemployed before the stimulus. So is the “evil libtard spending” still wrong if it fixes the economy like he promised to do?

I’m against big spending myself, and I don’t agree with the Bush bank bailouts or a large portion of what TARP is being spent on, but if it works, then it works.

  36. hans says:

LOL typical american woman & american soldier

  37. MM says:

I’m with the complainers. People need to stop mocking her and respect her. I say the nation would be a lot better with more politicians who held values like hers.

    • HelOnWheels says:

      And those “values” would be…?

    • Rando the Floydist says:

      I find her values alarming.

    • bad fairie says:

values like letting her daughter’s bf spend the night or the abstinence only sex ed (that worked well didn’t it?) or how she handled her labor knowing she was carrying a high risk baby who could need lots of specialized neonatal care? or her support for aerial hunting that runs $500 an hour, but is supposed to be for the subsistance hunters? or quitting half way through her elected term (that she chose to run for)?
so what are we supposed to respect here? her stance on abortion — that should be a personal decision. do i respect her for not aborting trig? sure, but i don’t respect her wanting to legislate that same choice for everyone else.
is her religious choice worthy of respect? again, it’s a personal choice and as long as she doesn’t try to legislate that everyone else follow her choice, i don’t care.
her education level? that’s to be respected, but it’s also mockable because most people finish their 4 year degree in 4 years, not 6. and it’s also worthy of mocking because it’s a degree in communication and at times she comes across as a babbling idiot – the irony is too much to pass up. not to mention, it’s kind of a fluff degree compared to the mba, law, or poli-sci degrees that most politicians have.

      • ay dios mio says:

The 4 year degree is a myth now days. It CAN be done but not without overloading yourself quite a bit. 12 hrs. a semester won’t cut it anymore. 5 years if you go that traditional 12 hrs/semester route, most people take a little more time then that, if they work too. I don’t know what Palin’s situation was, I’m just saying.

        • bad fairie says:

granted, the minimum for full time classification for most purposes is 12 hrs/semester but most students i went to college with a few years ago were pulling an average of 15 hr/semester with 18 not being that unusual. keep in mind that she graduated in 1987 and as far as i know was still single, so all she had was school and possibly work, no dependents pulling on her time. a 5 yr ba wouldn’t have been totally unreasonable, but 6?

  38. jesh says:

    Sad.

As someone who has family members and friends serving in each branch of the military, two currently in Iraq and one currently in Afghanistan, I feel confident in saying that this sad little non-LOL is pretty far from representing the majority of our troops.

    • The Steve says:

It’s not an accurate representation of our troops, because it’s supposed to be a JOKE.

Blonde jokes are funny, not because they accurately represent most blondes, but because the exaggerate a stereotype in a funny or amusing manner.

*hands jesh a map* Go find a sense of humor.

  39. The Steve says:

Wouldn’t the toilet she sits on be higher than her lowest point (her feet)?

    I’m so confused.

  40. Frotee says:

While finding not only Sarah Palin, but mostly her followers ridiculous and dangerous:
What exactly is it with you Americans and your paranoia about socialism? oO You never even had any in your country! Stupid cold war relict….
Not everything social is socialist, ok? Just look at how many other countries have had state governed health care systems for years or even decades – and wonder about why many people in the ‘world’s most powerfull nation’ can’t afford basic health insurance.

  41. ANDI says:

she’s visiting one of our troops and you have to make a comment like that??? have you visited a troop lately???

  42. Massive overgeneralization fail.

  43. Shaq says:

They might ask him a hard question…

  44. keithybabes says:

God I love reading these comments. And I thought British political debate was a monkey house!

  45. ElbieSee says:

I get my news from The Daily Show, spank you very much.

  46. Semperfidd says:

Obama admitted to doing drugs as did Clinton. So what is your point? Did Obama get a C at Yale? Oh yeah..we will never know as he wont release his grades. Besides, I would think you would be in support of drugs as it would help keep everyone “happy” in your world domination dream.

  47. Semperfidd says:

    Hee hee…you said hard…hee hee

  48. Justacarolinian says:

Yeah, funny how they bash W for his former drug use, and Limbaugh for prescription drug addiction, but never say anything against one of their own.

  49. bitter troll says:

bitter troll never bashed bushman for drugs he did in college, or obama man for the drugs he did in college….thou Rush was much older, screaming bout how drug doers are evil and need to go to prison forever and ever and ever

  50. charro says:

    I never did that..

  51. Semperfidd says:

Have to agree with you there BT. Rush was rather hypocritical for sure. Further proof that no one is perfect. Even myself, leaning far to the right, is getting kind of sick of listening to Rush. I prefer to listen to Hanity and Mark Lavin.

    (ducks behind thick tall wall)

  52. Mina says:

Oh no, we have plenty of wise asses here in the US who think that just because you have the right to say whatever you want means that you should say whatever you want. Stupidy knows no nationality.

  53. BuzzNutleyForPresident says:

If only our congress threw shoes at each other like some countries! Bet Pelosi would quickly develop a fast set of reflexes…

  54. viking gal says:

Rape is not sexual. It is a power display and a physical form of torture. Period.

  55. Justacarolinian says:

I gave up Rush years ago. Seems a lot of the things he predicts never happen the way he says, then he changes things to go along with what is actually happening.
He is a good scout on the Democratic party, I just wish he would apply that equally to both sides. I can’t stand the ego, but usually love the parodies. *sings “In a Yugo.”*
I LOVE Walter EEEE Williams. And the undocumented Fill in.
Mostly I listen to a local guy, who is conservative, but not republican. As he describes it, 360 degrees of eye poking.
If you want a different perspective, stream it online from wbt.com 9-12am EST. His name is Keith Larson. And no, I don’t agree totally with him.

  56. randman83 says:

Hugh Hewitt (sp?) is great. He has to be one of the best debaters/interviewers of all time.

  57. randman83 says:

Also, Rush is just so pedantic. It gets old pretty fast

  58. Rando the Floydist says:

I keep waiting for Jon Stewart to win some sort of journalistic award. Why won’t they give him that award?!

  59. bitter troll says:

now the award for best fake news ever thats more trustworthy then normal news…john stewart!!!- cobert bursts through the wall and steals away, runs off laughing-

  60. The Daily Show has won two Peabody Awards (the real kind, unlike BillO) for their 2000 & 2004 election coverage. The Colbert Report has also won a Peabody, in 2008.

  61. Justacarolinian says:

    +10 interwebs for BT

  62. bitter troll says:

    OR!!!
now the award for best fake news ever thats more trustworthy then normal news…john stewart!!!
-enter kayne west- im happy for you, gonna let you finish..but cobert has one of the best fake news shows of all time!

  63. Shaq says:

    involving sex…

  64. bitter troll says:

you have done plenty of other things-hugs charro tightly-

  65. charro says:

    *blush* Heeee

  66. bitter troll says:

    -noms on charro- mmmm nummy

  67. charro says:

    I heart my bitter troll.

  68. Rando the Floydist says:

Hell no. Pelosi would throw out the first shoe.
(OMG, I just made a joke with the troll. Someone shoot me.)

  69. Rando the Floydist says:

    OF ALL TIME!!!!

  70. That’s ok. I read it and thought “Shoe? Somebody needs to drop a house on her.”

  71. Rando the Floydist says:

*snort* Okay, that made me laugh.

  72. bad fairie says:

oh rats, i was all set to agree with you, then i realized you meant the house should land on pelosi and not palin. i’ll help drop the house if we can get a two for one. after all, it’s only fair that if the left looses an idiot that the right should too.

  73. Rando the Floydist says:

Not a journalistic award, though. MST3K won a Peabody too. It ain’t for journalism. ;)
