Fortunately, you don’t get to decide what’s appropriate on PK….admins do. Therefore, we get to chill out and see a sweet pic of a hero and his dog. (Before you want to nitpick about what is considered a “hero”, let’s just say that his service to the country makes him a hero in MY book.)

RE: Aussie Rules football.

“Lethal” Lee Matthews of the Hawthorn Hawks, BROKE a goalpost. Ran full tilt into it and it broke.

And Lee played on!

NFL players get a hangnail and they’re on the disabled list for two weeks.

Under Aussie Rules, you need special dispensation from the League to wear a helmet, and the only helmet I ever saw was a collection of padding filled tubes.

NFL players wouldn’t last a single half in an Aussie Rules match.

Actually, sushi refers to just the rice. Rice w/ rice wine vinegar. Sometimes raw fish is put together with sushi, but the basic term of sushi does not automatically mean raw fish.

Sashimi is a separate dish which usually consists of thinly sliced pieces of raw fish.

D, I’m in Japan right now, and the sashimi is great! And all of my relatives get funny Engrish shirts for all gift-giving occasions. Sadly, XL here is about the same as a woman’s size 6/8 in the states. Seriously. But the writing is hilarious!

SUSHI is WITH rice
(Example: a piece of Hamachi (raw yellowtail) or Maguro (raw tuna) on top of a mound of rice w/a sheet of seaweed wrapped around it)

SASHIMI is (example) fish WITHOUT the rice
(Example: Few pieces of raw yellowtail or tuna [Hamachi or Maguro], usually NO rice or seaweed)

Yeah KrispyKreme are pretty awful. Now Shipleys, that’s another story. As for coffee, I’ll admit I’m spoiled. Community coffee is about as good as coffee can get in the US. Starbucks is just a waste of space.

When I was on Diego Garcia (which is out in the Indian Ocean) a guy I worked with caught a 109 lb yellowfin tuna.. from hook to table in less than 4 hours with WASABI.. man, that was the best Thanksgiving I’ve ever had..

Ok, picture if you will walking down one of the busiest streets in Singapore. You spy a KFC kiosk and you start thinking, “Man, that sounds good!” But just a few meters past that you see a Taco Bell kiosk. Your next thought is, “WTF?
