South African-Ukrainian relations are foreign relations between South Africa and Ukraine. South Africa established its Embassy in Kiev in October 1992 while Ukraine established its Embassy in Pretoria in 1995.

In 2008 South Africa was ranked second (after Ghana) among all African countries in terms of products exported to Ukraine. That year the trade between the two countries had grown 5.4 times to $375.1 million.

      • Charlie Foxtrot (Floyd Extrodinare) says:

I don’t think it’s working. I’m voting for the ignore the idiots option myself. I mean, they may still jump in to demonstrate their kindergarten ability to say they are the primary respondent, but if not of us acknowledge them, they might finally go away., maybe not, bune we lose nothing by ignoring them. but that is just me.

  2. ay dios mio says:

Is this an accidental non-partisan win?
I can’t figure out what the joke is or who it’s on.

    • n00bs says:

On GW of course. Looks like Obama’s shadow is about to smack him…

      • parksj1 says:

        Um, no…it doesn’t. I can’t figure out what’s going on, but it’s not that.

        • n00bs says:

Strangle him? If you can’t figure out any other scenario, that is the most likely.

          • Nebton says:

Boy, someone is really displaying their filter for all to see.

Here’s my filter (no more or less valid than yours):
Someone’s shadow is waving at the camera. Obama has been classified as the “celebrity”, so it’s easy to imagine it’s his shadow.

In the context of the LOL, that would imply that Obama’s shadow “knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men”. Is that because he is evil, or because he’s next to evil?

            • n00bs says:

Or, maybe they are saying it’s evil to wave? Or maybe you should never wave when you’re next to evil? That’s deep.

              • All Knowing Search Engine says:

The line ‘What evil lurks in the hearts of men? Only the Shadow knows’ is from The Lord of the Rings, that’s the joke, because is fits with the image so well.

                • Nebton says:

No, it’s not from LotR. It’s from The Shadow. You’d think with your name…

                  • Vila Restal says:

Yep!! It’s from the Shadow (Books originally written by Maxwell Grant (actually a nom-de-plume for a group of writers) and later made into a film (although it could have also been made into one of those Saturday Morning Cinema jobs like Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, etc. Anyone else remember them???) And BTW only true idiots would think that was Obama’s shadow – a. it’s positioned wrongly to be his shadow and b. It doesn’t even look like him. It looks to be like someone is trying to take the piss (by showing how clever he is. “Look at me I’m in the picture too!!” (Don’t you just hate people like that. Wherever there is a camera, there’s a group of idiots who think it’s a good idea to play the fool in front of the camera.)

                    • J says:

Considering that GW’s body is completely in the dark, except for on the wrong side, there is no way that could be Obama’s shadow.

                    • mary says:

How can you not tell that that is Obama’s shadow? It is the shadow closest to him, his shoulders are angled in correlation with it, and finally, there is no mistaking those ears – it’s either Obama or Dumbo, close even if the latter.

                • mary says:

The Shadow was a popular radio show pre-television. The phrase was the slogan for the show. The pic implies that the shadow of Obama (probably symbolizing his spirit) knows the evil of THAT man.

            • wallFly says:

see, i took it as the shadow was drunk and in the process of falling down

              • parksj1 says:

Nebton was right…everyone sees it through his or her own lens…and everyone’s interpretation says something about him/her.

My original thought (based on the caption) was that both presidents look innocent, but the shadow looks like it’s lurking, so the poster was saying both presidents are evil deep down, or controlled by evil, or that power corrupts…I dunno.

        • you are an idiot parksj1 says:

Its saying that Obama is a vampire you idiot.
Vampires don’t have shadowsw you F**KING
          RETARD

          • HelOnWheels says:

How can it be saying that Obama is vampire if vampires don’t have shadows? Cause there’s his shadow, right there on the wall. Hmm, even more interesting, his image was captured by a camera, which is not something that’s possible to do to a vampire. Oh, and I believe you’re the idiot/retard (choose the one that you feel fits you best) because vampires don’t have REFLECTIONS IN MIRROS but they DO have shadows.

            • HelOnWheels says:

“REFLECTIONS IN MIRROS ” *headdesk* How embarrassing.

MIRRORS!! When there are that many Rs you’re bound to forget at least one.

            • Danbala says:

In some cultures they don’t have shadows. That poster must come from such a culture. Apparently it’s also a culture that lacks common courtesy and doesn’t believe in overdoing punctuation.

          • Charlie Foxtrot (Floyd Extrodinare) says:

Pssst, Don’t tell anyone, but there are no SUCH THINGS AS VAMPIRES!!!! *frigging moron*

        • Bill O Bong says:

          It’s obviously Dick Cheney’s shadow.

  3. Seruvious says:

Photoshop, picture exists without Obama in it. On this site.

  4. Keith Hackney for President says:

Course it’s O’Bahamas shadow, he’s waving all the time, therefore it must be him. What that has got to do with evil is beyond me.

    • wallFly says:

evil people wave, they used to laugh maniacally but now they just wave. it’s more menacing on a subtle level.

      • parksj1 says:

It’s true, I waved at the lead singer of Cake during a show and he waved back at me…and everyone knows he is evil.

Oh wait, I waved at him…so that means…

        No…I never knew!

        • wallFly says:

it’s also contageous – you’se seen at parades with everyone waving – they’re not just greating fellow humans, they’re greating fellow evil-doer converts! they wave, you MUST wave back, it’s in your nature, then POOF you’ve become evil. it’s tragic and it’s spreading like wild-fire. we must end this! my solution: remove the hand of each child. that way they can only nod or wave a stump – oh dear, must remove the whole arm! nodding is ok though.

  5. telefil says:

perhaps axel does not know of the shadow, lets educate him

The Shadow is a collection of serialized dramas, originally on 1930s radio and then in a wide variety of media, that follow the exploits of the title character, a crime-fighting vigilante with psychic powers.[2] One of the most famous pulp heroes of the 20th century, The Shadow has been featured in comic books, comic strips, television, video games, and at least five motion pictures. The radio drama is well-remembered for those episodes voiced by Orson Welles.

Introduced as a mysterious radio narrator by David Chrisman, William Sweets, and Harry Engman Charlot for Street and Smith Publications, The Shadow was fully developed and transformed into a pop culture icon by pulp writer Walter B. Gibson.

The Shadow debuted on July 31, 1930, as the mysterious narrator of the Street and Smith radio program Detective Story Hour.[3] After gaining popularity among the show’s listeners, the narrator became the star of The Shadow Magazine on April 1, 1931, a pulp series created and primarily written by the prolific Gibson.

Over the years, the character evolved. On September 26, 1937, The Shadow radio drama officially premiered with the story “The Deathhouse Rescue”, in which the character had “the power to cloud men’s minds so they cannot see him.” The Shadow did not have the ability to become literally invisible; he could be detected by photoelectric beams and other mindless devices. Rather, the minds of his opponents simply overlooked him due to his psychic influence, even if they knew he was in the room.

Even after decades, the unmistakable introduction from The Shadow radio program, originally intoned by actor Frank Readick Jr., has earned a place in the American idiom: “Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!” These words were accompanied by a an ominous laugh and a musical theme, Camille Saint-Saëns’ Le Rouet d’Omphale (“Omphale’s Spinning Wheel”, composed in 1872). At the end of each episode, The Shadow reminded listeners, “The weed of crime bears bitter fruit. Crime does not pay…. The Shadow knows!”

  9. Jeremy says:

YES! I love the Shadow! Classic Radio reference WIN.
