I work with a lot of ‘wicked smaht’ folks (college, after all), and a lot of them don’t even notice that there is a stair-rail down, needing to be reported. Book learning isn’t everything: there is also common sense (not common), people sense (compassion, etc), relationship sense (don’t go out with alcoholic control-freaks), fiscal sense… I could continue for a while, but I have tests to grade!
