Yeah, but people like to blame Obama instead.

    You tell ‘em, Bush!

  4. jklinders says:

It actually looks like he could be saying that

  5. Ben Hoffman says:

Not everything. The oil leak, maybe. The massive deficits? Definitely. The collapse of our economy? Partially. Much of it goes back to the deregulation of the late 90s. The wars? Definitely. The 9/11 attack? Maybe.

  6. ReligionIsDumb says:

Yes, yes it is. That is all.

  7. Nix says:

    Yes, everything “IS” your FAULT!!!!

From the economy to the BP’s slack ass management.

  8. salmonodoubt says:

yes it is your fault, you pompous, retarded monkey.

    • followthemoney says:

      Don’t call Obama a monkey! That’s racist.

      • Sarge says:

He was calling Bush a monkey. Which is completely truthful.

        • Cricket the IvanoPhile says:

And not at all offensive

          • Default User says:

It’s totally racist. Salmon is RACIST!

            • Hapiface says:

Calling Bush a monkey = okay.
Calling Obama a gorilla = racist.
              :D

              • Ivan Teh Cricketist says:

                You’ve got it!

              • Daria says:

Neither have tails, so neither are monkeys. Both are apes. You both fail 9th grade Biology. Then again, you were probably taught Creationist BS.

                • Suggesting that any POTUS, past, present or future (barring the ‘election’ of Gorilla Grodd or Dr Zaius) has the intelligence of a simian is an insult of the highest order to said monkey or ape.

You need to compare a pollies intelligence to something much, much stupider say an atom or a single cell amoeba but even that’s stretching a politicians intelligence a bit too far ;)

                • Velocistar237 says:

                  Not all monkeys have tails.

              • zingbaby says:

A monkey (or other ape) is not a stereotype for white people. It has been used by racists for decades (if not longer) as a stereotype for black people.

Calling Bush a monkey, therefore, is merely offensive to some, but not racist. Calling Obama a gorilla (actually, the cartoon portrayed him as a chimp), is racist.

Calling Bush a honky, that’s racist. Calling him stupid is simply a fact.

Does this clear up the question?

        • Phoenix says:

Incorrect. Monkeys have tails. It would be more proper to call him an ape, but then apes evolved from monkeys, so you’re ALL pathetic descendants of monkeys!

(let’s see if anyone catches the phrase reference)

  9. Tetness says:

Yes W… Obama is your fault.

    • Dr. Psycho says:

What, you are giving Bush credit for something good coming out of the 2001-2009 mess? Not sure I would.

      • Tetness says:

Depends on what you consider to be “good”. Personally… I haven’t seen anything “good” out of Obama to date. Just a lot of blame of the previous administration and using that blame to justify more debt with little result.

You can call this recession whatever you want and justify throwing money at the problem however you want. But this isn’t the first recession America has been through. As I recall we were in a recession at the end of the Clinton administration. Funny how no one was up in arms about that one and how Bush didn’t pass blame for it. But I do recall having been laid off because of it.

So, ya… delude yourself all you want.

        • TehRoflcopters says:

You mean at the end of the first Bush admin, the end of the Clinton years were economically very strong. The next recession didn’t start until March 2001.

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_recessions_in_the_United_States

        • Shade Tail says:

Actually, Bush and his people *did* blame Clinton for that. They also blamed Clinton for 9/11. And for their crappy response to Katrina. As recently as 2008, they blamed Clinton for the 2007 popping of the housing bubble. They blamed Clinton for everything. So spare us your undeserved righteous indignation.

And also spare us your phony debt hawkishness. Bush turned the huge surplus Clinton left him into a massive debt that dwarfed even Regan’s fiscal misadventures. The result produced no jobs and started a massive recession that will have us reeling for the better part of a decade. People like you didn’t say a word about that. *Now* you’re complaining?

          • Julie Zoller says:

            yes! Yes!! YES!!!

          • Ivan Teh Cricketist says:

Bravo! But be careful, posting actual FACTS around here may get you the same result as dividing by zero.

            • I Like Peanut Butter and Boobie Friday says:

Can someone PLEASE show me quotes where Bush and his people blamed Clinton for 9/11? Pundits don’t count… as I saw below. We can have quotes from Obama/ Gibbs/ Biden, etc about everythign being Bush’s fault.

              • Bill says:

“I was a hippie prostitute” – Ronald Reagan

              • ReligionIsDumb says:

I am fairly confident shade tail got his material from a video montage on the daily show. It seems to match too closely the material in that montage to be a coincidence, but I could be wrong. I believe it was the June 29 episode. The montage shows quotes from several prominent members of the bush administration (not pundits). I know you have already made up your mind to hate Obama and love Bush regardless of the existence of facts or evidence, so I don’t really post this so much for you as for others. But you asked for actual quotes and they are in the first 10 minutes of the show on that date…in living color.

                • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Actually I hate Bush, but I hate hypocrisy and “MY SIDE IS BETTER NA NA NA BOO BOO” horse$hit. If you notice, your ignorance a$$ could probably see me do the same thing to Conservatives…. AHHHHHHHH too bad so sad, may you go home and cry.

                • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

And it was the first two minutes of a ten minute run. :-)

          • zingbaby says:

I love a good game of whackamole.

  10. Azkyroth says:

“LOL…wut u meen ‘bukc stawps heer?’”

  11. Lee says:

Really? How very original. Are we not done with making fun of this guy? Get some new material people.

  12. Ray.Redspider says:

No, George. Your birth is Barbara’s fault. Everything after that moment, however, you share with her.

  13. scouty says:

    bingo, bushy!!

  14. wendy says:

A really funny one! And the comments, more entertaining than the photo, bravo. *clappity*

  15. Alverant says:

Not everything. Just everything you should have done but didn’t (like prevent 9/11 when you HAD THE INFO IN AUGUST and catch Osamma bin Laden as you promised) and everything you did do but shouldn’t (like using the Justice Dept as your political goon squad, invade Iraq, exploit 9/11 to expand your personal power).

Why don’t conservatives accept responsibility for their actions instead of blaming everyone else?

    • Cricket the IvanoPhile says:

Why didn’t Clinton take Osama when offered him back during the 90′s?

I bet they get thousands of pieces of intel a day, and it’s a crap shoot as to which is real and which is just chatter.

    • Hapiface says:

“like using the Justice Dept as your political goon squad,”

Lawsuit against Arizona with no legal footing whatsoever. “Hello Pot, my name’s Kettle. My my, you’re looking awfully black today…”

      • cannibal says:

US constitution holds immigration enforcement for the federal government ONLY. and the fact that it targets brown people.

        • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Actually no it doesn’t. The US Constitution says that a State Law can not over ride a Federal Lwa, as the AZ law is actually enforcing a Federal Law.

“and the fact that it targets brown people.”
Have you actually READ the law, or just showing your compelte and utter ineptitude to argue with facts.

          • I read the law, and on paper it doesn’t look that bad, but it’s vague enough to leave room for mounds and mounds of abuse.

            • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Which one did you read? Did you read the portion about only if the person has done something wrong, ie speeding/ shop lifting/ shooting a man in the face… I think if someone is caught speeding (especially wreckless driving), or dirivng while drunk you SHOULD be allwoed to ask for citizenship. A) It helps to show what happens with illegals in this country and B) helps you catch them and hopefully send them back over the river, pond, forest, etc.

              • Yes, and I still think there’s loads of potential for abuse.

                • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

No more than any other law out there.

Why are liberals against Immigration “control”? It seems anytime there’s talk of cracking down on illegals, liberals come out of the wood-work and scream “Racism!”. I guess our President sums it up best when he called Illegal Imigrants, “law-abiding”.

              • semperfidd says:

“B) helps you catch them and hopefully send them back over the river, pond, forest, etc.”

All they have to do to catch them is go to the Homedepots, Lowes and landscape companies in town.

              • dissimilitude says:

Actually, “wreckless” driving is good; I think my insurance company gives me a discount for my wreckless driving.

(I know you have a spelling pass, but I couldn’t not say it!)

  16. No1askedme says:

It would seem to depend on who you ask Mr. Bush.

  17. LOLRuss says:

    Yes.

    Yes it is.

Too bad you’ll never take responsibility.

    Because that’s REALLY hard.

  18. Erik says:

    Yes. Yes, it is.

  19. Crash Chloride says:

It’s funny because the far right did nothing but blame Clinton for problems throughout his whole term.

It’s funnier because his party claims to be the party of personal responsibility.

    • I Like Peanut Butter and Boobie Friday says:

They did? Examples please. I can find FAR more examples of Obama blaming Bush.

      • TehRoflcopters says:

        Enjoy:

        http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-june-29-2010/blame

In fairness, Obama was handed a huge recession and two wars, Bush was handed a good economy and peace.

      • Shade Tail says:

Really? Then *you* provide some examples.

        • I Like Peanut Butter and Boobie Friday says:

Any time Obama speaks. Just pretty much listen to any press conference he’s given, his inaugeral speech, his “push for Health Care”…. etc……

          • “Any time Obama speaks” is not an example.

            • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

I gave examples my fine feathered friend. Or would you like me to cut and past… it could end up with a “Tl;dr”…..

            • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Here’s a few examples though, just to wet your appetite:

From the 2010 State of the Union Address “One year ago, I took office amid two wars, an economy rocked by a severe recession, a financial system on the verge of collapse, and a government deeply in debt. Experts from across the political spectrum warned that if we did not act, we might face a second depression. So we acted -– immediately and aggressively. And one year later, the worst of the storm has passed.

But the devastation remains. One in 10 Americans still cannot find work. Many businesses have shuttered. Home values have declined. Small towns and rural communities have been hit especially hard. And for those who’d already known poverty, life has become that much harder.

This recession has also compounded the burdens that America’s families have been dealing with for decades –- the burden of working harder and longer for less; of being unable to save enough to retire or help kids with college.”

In one paragraph he blames Bush for what he started in office and says he’s got it under control, HOWEVER in the next two paragraphs he’s talking about it’s not really under control.

This is one of my personal favorites:
“So I supported the last administration’s efforts to create the financial rescue program. And when we took that program over, we made it more transparent and more accountable. And as a result, the markets are now stabilized, and we’ve recovered most of the money we spent on the banks. ”

It’s so tongue in cheek, maybe some “commoners” might miss it (not Calling the PK regulars commoners, I’m talking about the Sheeple out there, the ones who just listen to pundits.)

“We can’t afford another so-called economic “expansion” like the one from the last decade –- what some call the “lost decade” -– where jobs grew more slowly than during any prior expansion; where the income of the average American household declined while the cost of health care and tuition reached record highs; where prosperity was built on a housing bubble and financial speculation.”

Now we’re blaming Bush for capitalism. Brilliant!!! I guess prosperity is a bad thing, whether it be built off of real estate, financial specualtion, internet specualtion, war, etc…..

              • Paws4thot, the PK Booty Caller says:

Do you actually not understand why the so-called “housing boom” was a bad thing, or is it the whole concept of “bubble markets” that’s got you?

Either way, the “prosperity” was based on borrowing more and more money against the future value of a commodity, not on actually producing value.

                • Cricket the IvanoPhile says:

It’s a bad thing in the same way that the tech bubble was bad.

Sh!t happens, and that’s a deflection of the point, which was that Obama constantly blames Bush for EVERYTHING.

                  • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Not everything….. Remember the ring around the collar….

Oh wait were you being sarcastic?

                • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

No my problem exists when the Clintonites come on here and beotch about “Bubble markets” and blame Bush for them, and don’t realize their hero was perpitrature of one as well, remember the whole “Internet Bubble Market”. Yet whent hat collapsed I didn’t hear a single person blaming Clinton, like I do hear the left yelling for Bush’s head. That’s the BS. If it’s a prosperous market under a Democrat, it’s a good thing regardless of how, but under a Republican, it’s “shadey”.

You mean kind of what Obama’s doing with Health Care/ Stimulous Package etc? Where do you think the money’s coming from for the Stimulous Package? And what happens when it runs out? (I think we’ll see that in oh about one month, as the market is already starting to turn back down again). But SHHHHH!?!? don’t tell the left, it gives them prep time to blame the republicans.

                  • Paws4thot, the PK Booty Caller says:

No; I blame Clinton (and Greedy Gordon Brown) for creating the (non-)regulatory framework that allowed the housing bubble to exist. My only issue with Dubya-ites on this one is the way they pretend that a “boom” created on borrowing money for revenue items with no clear idea of how to pay it back can be anything but a bubble market, for the political convenience created by when said bubble burst in hte US electoral cycle.

                    • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

I persoanlly think ALL of economics is based on a
“boom” of some sort. People want the quick buck. I don’t really blame any “politician” for the economy until they 1) Tax people to death and creat an environment where it’s hard to spend money or 2) Try and poor government money (whjich it doesn’t have) into the economy as a “bubble” in order to put off said recession, vice actually helping relieve it.

                • semperfidd says:

Do you understand that no one mentions the government run Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac who were buying all these crappy mortgages? Currently they hold over 53% of mortgages in the US. How come they never get any of the blame for the “housing boom”. BTW..who was in charge of them when the chit hit the fan?

  20. Valerie says:

    Short answer… Yes.

    • Justacarolinian says:

What an open, honest mind you have.

    • Remember, Valerie; if you post any opinion that isn’t right-wing and conservative, there are those who will declare you “dishonest” Just a heads up. :)

      • Cricket the Ivanist says:

YOU’RE a dishonest left-wing MSNBCcrat and you smell!! BLARGH!!!! ENUMERATED POWERS!!!! WHARGARBLE!!!!!

        • Ivan Teh Cricketist says:

          *giggling helplessly*

          • Cricket the Ivanist says:

Just remember, I’m NOT a Republican. STATES RIGHTS!!!! ENUMERATED POWERS!!!! FOURTEENTH AMENDMENT!!!! NOT A REPUBLICAN!!! BLARGH!!! BLARGH!!!!!! *dies*

            • Naliord says:

Hey by the way I have a great suggestion on how to reduce the size and cost of government:

Reduce the number of states – that will save you LOADS of money ;)

              • Yeah, what we do is move to the good states, then all the bad states will die out and we can turn them into landfills and prisons.
Yeah, Missouri is gonna be one of the landfill states. Starting with Branson.

                • Ivan Teh Cricketist says:

I vote we let Florida return to swampland. And Texas can go back to Mexico. We can give North Dakota to Canada. It’s a helluva start!

                • Cricket the IvanoPhile says:

Don’t hate on Branson. You’ve got a town of like 6,000 turning out millions of dollars a night. You can’t tell me that’s not being put back into the economy somewhere.

                  • Ivan Teh Cricketist says:

It’s being mostly put in the pockets of the country “stars” that appear there!

                    • Cricket the IvanoPhile says:

Dont’ be hatin’, you commie pig! :-)

One of my friends just got back from Branson (I’ve never been, but my parents rave about it)….he said his mind was blown by the fact that this little nothing of a town with less than 6000 actual residence is basically Las Vegas in the mountains. And that people actually travel so far just to go there.

                      • You know what’s funny? I can remember when it really was nothing, back before all the hoopla. It was essentially a bathroom break on trips down to visit my grandparents in Arkansas. It’s insane what it’s become. That being said, I hate country music, and if I want Soviet Russia jokes, I can get them on Cheezburger. As for the economy, a hell of a lot of good it’s doing us up here.

  21. Frank says:

It looks like the people (except the ones who comment here) are waking up to 0bama. It’s a little too late for 2008 but 2012 is just around the corner. Bye, bye Obummer!

    • Hapiface says:

Unless he loses Congress, in which case we could see a repeat of Clinton’s first term. Clinton was pushing some pretty radical stuff really hard, using his both side majority in Congress, lost it in the midterm elections, and was stopped. Come election time, there was no more reason to vote him out, since he had cooled his jets, and we saw 4 more years of him and his antics.

  22. agvergensis sore says:

    Nice little subversion there.

  23. Slackertarian says:

It’s a rhetorical question in the form of an LOL. You folks need to lighen up and laugh more, seriously.

Sincerely, the maker of this LOL

    • Jeff says:

But you have to remember that when you mention anything political it’s an excuse for both sides to sling mud.

  24. UofUman says:

Its the fault of all the idiots in Washington and all the idiots that send them there.

“Why no dear, I never vote. It just encourages them too much.”
    – My grandmother, when asked why she never cared for anything political

  25. Exasperated says:

    That would be “Yes”.

  26. zipper says:

Why of course. Libtards blame you for the Great Depression, the 1906 Earthquake, the Black Death and Death of the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago.

You see irresponsible people like Libtards only can feel ‘good’ when they can blame somebody else for all the misery and pain and ruination they themselves have caused and have further plans to cause.

Obama as the Head Leftard has the job of setting an example for all the rest. He has ‘yes-men’ in the leftard media to trumpet his excuses and failures as YOUR fault Mr Bush, no matter that it is getting close to 2 years since you left office.

Dont worry, when the time comes, the blame will land squarely on Obama and his marxist circus and the other democrat miscreants like the Proverbial 15 ton Weight. Most of America knows who the liars are now.

  27. war says:

not everything. but close to it. the passed decade at least.

  28. FinishingTheSentence says:

Nah, don’t believe all the asswipes in the media. Don’t believe them here in the comments either. Excluding me.

  29. Frank says:

Bush wasn’t that bad, 0bama’s not that good.

  30. penny_lane086 says:

    To answer your question:

    YES

  31. kyosgurl says:

    Nah, you’re cool

  32. n8 says:

Nooo, obviously there is absolutely no causation between the past and the present. Who could ever be so silly as to believe such a thing. *sigh*
