Who cares what’s on the other side? IMPEACH 0BAMA!

    • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Why? What’d he do that’s impeach worthy? IE what crime has he committed? Please be specific.

Oh screw it! *lights frank on fire and douses the falmes with sulfuric acid* Your type doesn’t help the conservative cause at all.

Yes, I think it’s safe to say that no-one likes the Conservatrollus @sshattus Americanus.

*puts on monocle* Preserve the body if possible. We must study it to better determine it’s habits and weaknesses.

            • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Can I get some of the Holy Water for cleaning myself off, I feel so dirty having to defend Obama. Sort of like Rando defending GW or Rush… it just feels so… wrong.

[recites recipe for Puttanesca sauce over some water] Here you go; it’s handy being a Pastafarian cleric sometimes!

                • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

As a conservative, nothing gets the liberal dirt out like the tears and blood of the poor. Do you have any of that lying around?

              • Dan says:

*wonders how many people still think impeach means remove from office*

                • Wendy says:

Not only that, if he actually was removed from office, do they realize who would be next in line!? *shudder* That thought alone causes me to pray for the health and safety for our president…

                  • That’s right. Obama, much like George Bush Sr, picked the perfect VP: a man who guarantees nobody is gonna assassinate hiim.

                    • B. Hussein O. says:

I’m pretty confident that Cheney was calling more of the shots than Bush, and we as a country would have been better off removing Cheney from power than Bush.

                      • Agreed. I was referring to Bush Sr. and his pick of Dan “potatoe” Quayle for VP.

                        • I Like Peanut Butter and Boobie Friday says:

HMMMM I think that might be the new strategy. Reagan had Bush Sr (somewhat competent, not the best, but certainly better than some), and an attempt was made on his life, Bush Sr. had Quayle, ONLY after he go out of office did someone attempt. Clinton had Gore…… need I say more. Bush Jr had Cheney, but everyone thinks Jr was a puppet anyhows, but I don’t know. Now Obama has Biden (McCain took Palin as a running mate). HMMMMM?!??!!?

                        • I think Gore would have been better had Clinton died than Quayle, Bush, Cheney, or Biden.

                        • I Like Peanut Butter and Boobie Friday says:

I don’t after watching the fall from Grace and how he “well” he didn’t take the 2000 loss. (I know I know to some liberals he never lost.)

                        • Jane St.Clair says:

I like Joe Biden. He’s a big fvcking deal to me.

                        • I also like Joe Biden. I find his foot in mouth disease charming. Seriously.

                    • Iforgot says:

Biden is safe, too. Pelosi is next in the line of succession.

                  • zipper says:

Nothing says that additional impeachments could not also be done as needed. Its also possible that Biden and more likely Pelosi could face recall for the same/simultaneous ‘crimes and misdemenaors’ that would remove Obama.

Speaker of the House can be changed by action of the House independant of any impeachment.

                    • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

No need for drastic measures. They’ve done nothing impeachworthy, just passed some laws that could be deemed Unconstitutional, but that’s why we have the Judicial Branch.

However Speaker of the House will change in November anyhows, and Pelosi polls are slipping.

                • Siirenias says:

I’m still hoping there are actual peaches involved.

            • Nucky the Bootywench says:

*follows behind paws, pouring salt on the ground* Holy water won’t do anything, paws, you need to salt the earth.

            • I Stole Your Hat says:

              Isn’t it the Trollus Conservitus?

  2. SevenEightNine says:

Man, people will blame Obama for everything, even when proof contradicting them is right in their faces.

    • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Not that I think Obama should be impeached, but what proof is sitting in my face that Obama’s palns will acutally hurt small business?

      • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

        That’s “won’t” vice will.

        • Naliord says:

I was just about to say WOAH what happened to you? ;)

          • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Come on, you know his plans don’t bode well for small business… anyone can see that.

            • Naliord says:

Any crisis like this will hurt all businesses. And those with the smalles reserves (a large part of small businesses) are hit the hardest. But on this you cannot really judge him, he inherited that one.

Now as to the question of counter measures and what effect they will have – that’s a different topic. There are differnt schools of thought in economics on how the government can act in times of crisis.

Without going into all of them, I want to make the point that the experts are still not sure if the countermeasures used during the great depression actually helped or made it worse. So I think noone can say that they know the truth with any kind of certainty.

If you’re talking about financial industry reform: It is vital. If you don’t regulate this industry, the same thing will happen again and again. We saw the result of what happens when you go to self-governing market models here – the mess we currently have on our hands. So I do think it is the right thing to do. As I didn’t follow the content of the current reform, I can say little about it but anything is better than nothing at this point.

And if you mean the healthcare reform: Regardless of people’s opinion whether it is a good or bad thing in principle I can give you this example from the other end of the Spectrum: Germany is one of the most social market economies you will find along with some of our European neighbours and we have some of the highest tax rates around – but at the same time the foundation of our economy is a huge base of small and middle businesses that thrive and do well. (Oh and side note: If anyone claims we have a “socialist” system, they would probably laughed out of town). I’m not saying taxes couldn’t be lower (I want them to be) – but it works and the country didn’t go to hell. We’re doing quite nicely, actually.

I seriously think that a lot of the fear about his plans is simply that expectations are a lot worse than reality will be – also due to missing or intentional miss-information that want either viewers or voters (and I DO mean all – not just one side).

Sorry for the long post but you DID ask ;)

              • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Well there’s a difference bewteen Socialized Health Care (which I still dread but different story) and the Abomination that was passed through our governemnt. What was passed thorugh our government will only hinder small businesses, Obama’s tax plans in the future will only hurt small businesses (Value Added Tax won’t only hurt small business here, but the minimum industrialization we have here as well), and his definition of Rich will surely hurt the small businesses.

                • Wendy says:

New energy taxes will hurt small business if they get passed.

                  • Justacarolinian says:

Going to hurt those of us paying power bills for HVAC at home too. (and any other energy bills you pay)

                  • zipper says:

New energy taxes will hurt everyone (and wait for ALgores speculation game (carbon credit scam) to start up to drive prices even higher with a whole nuther layer of middlemen taking their ‘cut’….

                • Kestrel MacKnight says:

Well, the truth of it is with the regulations that are being passed into law regarding the Wall Street reform, I have actually gotten far better leads on funding for my business than at any other point in my 3-4 years of attempting to get funding for a “start up.”

For established businesses, it may hurt because they have to change how they work if they want to survive. Also it depends on which definition of small business you’re using. There are some businesses I’ve learned that are considered small because even though they are nationwide, they are not making a certain amount of money per year (over 1 million if I recall correctly)

That’s my personal experience with banks and investors of all sorts. It’s just freaking absurd the scares that are being spread around due to lack of information and refusal to actually look for it.

              • oɹɹɐɥɔ says:

                Wait, you’re German?

      • James says:

The proof? How about the fact they spent their money on a billboard blaming Obama instead of advertising their business…

  3. My Don'ts gets it says:

What’s funny is that if this sign said the same about G.W. during his presidency, people would have agreed with it, just because the media downplayed his popularity. nearly everyone was fine with him until the media said that people weren’t. The media will continue to support Obama and give him popularity but at least some people are willing to stick their necks out and show that the majority of the US probably doesn’t approve of everything Obama’s doing.

    • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

No pretty much GW shot himself in the foot a few times. He screwed up in his initial plans for Iraq and Afghanistan. His handling of Katrina, MEH! He wasn’t the worst PResident, but he was by no means a very good PResident. Illegal activity is questionable due to the false intelligence to go into Iraq, Impeachable… no not really. Besides all Impeach does is make the one getting Impeached look like a victim of some conspiracy from the other side.

    • Breesus says:

When exactly did the media downp;ay GWB’s popularity? Is that when they were kissing his ass on 9/11 or when they were trumpeting his wars for him or something else that I missed? Oh and what is the weather like on your planet?

    • Alverant says:

That’s because Duyba did impeachment-worthy things. He started a war against a country that did not harm us. He ordered illegal spying on US citizens. He used the Justice Dept as partisan thugs who decided whether or not to prosecute or investigate based on how much they agreed with him. He committed war crimes. And on and on and on. If anyone deserved to be tossed out it was aWol and yet he was rewarded for his failure to catch Osmma bush Forgotten.

What did Obama do to warrant imeachment? Being black? Being a Democrat? Trying to actually help ALL Americans? Yes I know those are all crimes to conservatives (especially the last one), but let’s talk about REAL crimes for a change.

      • The Saiyan Shinobi says:

I would word that better, but generally, I agree.

      • Cricket teh IvanoPhile says:

YOu might want to turn off MSNBC. I think half of your brain might have stopped working by now, but there is still a chance to save the other half.

      • zipper says:

        War crimes?

        Please explain in detail.

      • zipper says:

“He started a war against a country that did not harm us”

Guess you choose to ignore all of Saddams firing at our planes and all the violation of the UN sanctions.

Contratry to libtard press, there was lots of evidence Iraq had supported terrorists.

Korean war happened and supposedly was ‘against a country that did not harm us’ if you look at things simplisticly.

      • zipper says:

” illegal spying on US citizens”

        Evidence ???

Listening in to conversations of foreigners who’s communications are channeled via US comm hubs isnt ‘spying on US citizens’

      • zipper says:

“He used the Justice Dept as partisan thugs who decided whether or not to prosecute or investigate based on how much they agreed with him”

Who was prosecuted in this way??

Evidence to back up you pack of lies….

      • zipper says:

Oh yes, Bush puposely made sure Bin Laden wasnt caught…

When it could have greatly increased his political capital in fighting the war and been a major psychological victory for our side.

Youve got youre head so far up your partisan arse that you can see your own brains.

        • danielsangeo says:

So, you’ve been living under a rock this past decade?

          • zipper says:

No but you seem to have been for the last 2 centuries.

Aghanistan is a pile of rocks.
Once people disappear into those rocks they can stay disappeared,
especially when they have many freindly locals to help and a magic line (border with a largely uncooperative Pakistan) he can traipse back and forth over.

Our troops are good, but are put under rigid restrictions about what they can do. The Russians werent and had no better luck in similar situations, ditto the British over 100 years ago.

Your assertion that Bush didnt want to catch Bin Laden is moronic and partisan in equal parts.

        • “Youve got youre head so far up your partisan arse that you can see your own brains.”

Wow, the irony of this statement knows no bounds.

          • zipper says:

I might be partisan, but it comes from seeing reality and not your libtard
            delusions or the leftards swindles.

            • If your reality is thinking all liberals are horrible sleazeballs, then there’s something very wrong with your reality. And I have to say for sure said reality is only yours and not for the rest of us.

              • zipper says:

Liberals arent what they were 100 years ago (those people are called conservatives today).

Today they are libertines who believe that they need to meddle with every aspect of other peoples lives to bring them into line with their perverse ideology. They also love to be generous with other peoples monies to that end.

You want to call the ‘sleazeball’ thats fine by me.

  5. Mr. Obvious says:

So no one realized it was probably Wal-Mart that put small businesses out of business and not President Obama? Well, that explains America’s standing in education.

  6. Liberalismisamentaldisorder says:

Yeah, Walmart really sucks, they’re just the 2nd largest EMPLOYER in the country and pay BILLIONS in taxes to pay for the LARGEST employer, the GOVERNMENT, get a CLUE you liberal leaches.

Quick look a poor Mexican child with health problems crossing the border. Go catch him, rapido quick!!!!

    • gia says:

It’s also known for its brutal and questionable policies and unethical behaviour. But I guess in a Republican’s view, like yours, those are actually virtues – “Money at all costs!”
And by the way, a person who can’t spell a word as simple as “leech” correctly really isn’t qualified to give that kind of opinion.

      • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

*sigh* don’t open yourself up to very easy retorts. IE “In a bad economy liberals would prefer the government to pay the way for people than to have those people work.”

Secondly spelling a genius does not make. Though this guy is clearly a troll.

        • Liberalismisamentaldisorder says:

Get a job you pathetic loser, do you just sit here all f’ing day or what?

          • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Monkies can fling poo at the zoo!!!

          • Liberalismisamentaldisorder says:

Pointing out the FACT that Walmart employs people who would otherwise be on welfare does not a troll make but sitting here all day does.

Guess what; some of us get to set our own hours, and like to come here in our breaks.

              • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Or some of us wait 15-20 minutes for a document to load. And you can only open 3 documetns at once.

                • Paws4thot, the PK Booty Caller says:

                  For document, read spreadsheet.

Or I have other batch jobs that take 20mins to an hour to run, and once started I just need to wait til they’re finished.

                  • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

But get a job you lazy slob!!!! :-)

                    • Paws4thot, the PK Booty Caller says:

Oh yeah; having a job that consists of doing something, waiting for it to finish, doing something with the results, then having to do another something that needs 20mins to finish isn’t “real work”, not like sitting in meetings half-asleep all day, or checking your brain on the way in wo work on a production line. I forget that sometimes. :P

                  • Nucky the Bootywench says:

                    I work for lawyers….’nuff said. :D

      • Liberalismisamentaldisorder says:

Well pardon me, must be those fine union schools I went to.
But you’re right, employing MILLIONS of people with IQs in your range is really brutal and unethical and we all know that democrats who are bankrupting the country to buy votes from morons are really “ethical”, right? How about Microsoft? Are they brutal and unethical? How about Goldman-Sucks (who gives MILLIONS to DEMOCRATS), are they unethical? How about the government puts Walmart out of business so MILLIONS of people lose their jobs, I guess you’d like that till your welfare check bounces.

        • gia says:

You mean, employing them AND exploiting them. Employment in itself is not a virtue, sorry I have to break it to you. Second, Walmart most sells goods that are NOT manufactored in the USA. They prefer the cheap stuff that comes from India and China. So tell, how does THAT help your economy?

          • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Makes goods available to people who otherwise couldn’t afford them. You know the “lower” class you’re hoping to support. So by getting rid of Wal-Mart you get rid of many people’s options to purcahse materials, therefore hurting their “way of life”. See told you, this liberal is NOT for helping the poor……

When you don’t have a job, employment is a virtue, especially in this economy. Do you think that lovely Value added tax Obama’s pushing would help or hurt the local industry? Why does Wal-Mart use stuff from India and China? It’s cheaper, why is it cheaper? Government intervention, unions, higher minimum wage, etc….

**deep breath deep breath** I will not get into the middle of a Troll war, they are just lopping absurdities at each other.. **deep breath deep breath**

            • Paws4thot, the PK Booty Caller says:

Even when typically 2/3 of the selling price of those goods is promptly exported?

              • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Don’t understand the question? Who’s goods? Who’s profits?

                • Paws4thot, the PK Booty Caller says:

It’s a good average to say that the wholesale/import price of most non-luxury goods is 2/3 of the retail sticker price. Unless those goods are made by an off-shore subsidiary of a local multi-national, that wholesale price will be going off-shore.

I’m serious; the best way to support your national economy is to buy goods made in your country by manufacturers based there; next comes buying goods made in your country by manufacturers based overseas; buying stuff made overseas is way back down the list!

                  • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Unfortunatley things made here are too expensive to be sold at the “Wal-mart” price. Withou Wal-mart, actually the lower middle class would have a hard time procuring some goods they have today (from Wal-Mart). Only thing that is “cheap” in America is local grown food (if it’s organic kiss tha good bye). Also it’s the employment factor AND the taxes Wal-Mart pays. There’s no way with the current thought in America (want things cheap) and (pay me the money) that anything could actually be built here at a reasonable price.

                    • Rattus says:

The problem is, people want too much stuff. Unimportant, unnecessary stuff. It we could all learn to live more simply and healthily, it would be a lot easier to live without Walmart – much like we did before Walmart came into being. Plus, while I don’t (won’t) shop there, I have done a comparison from the flyers that get dropped at my door, and honestly the prices are pretty much the same as they are anywhere else, so people are apparently buying into the advertising hype. And food? Don’t buy food at Walmart. The produce is of poor quality, and processed foods should be avoided as much as possible. Farmer’s markets are a much better option, plus you’re supporting the local economy.

All this aside, I understand that wages overseas are going up, so manufacturing offshore won’t be a viable option much longer, anyway. There will be growing pains once the market reverts to a home manufacturing basis, but the end results will justify those pains.

Although I quit my job, unwittingly, at the crest of the most current economic crisis (to go to school…and then my full-time job vanished when I got out of school), I have to point out that GOOD doesn’t have to be EXPENSIVE.

I’m lucky enough to live in California, and I discovered that farmer’s markets are a treasure trove.

If I were still making the kind of money I was making in ’08, I’d be saving a hell of a lot of money. For now, it’s fending off poverty until my license to practice is approved after a thorough ant time-consuming background check.

I just wanted to also point out that part of Wal-Mart’s strategy (though not unique to them, by any means) entails putting low cost “loss leaders” on aisle endcaps and in advertising fliers to draw people in. When people notice that these loss leaders are cheaper than anywhere else, the assumption is drawn that everything else in the aisle is also cheaper than anywhere else. Wal-Mart does this with electronics, in particular. However, if one were to actually comparison shop everything in the aisle behind the loss leader, you’d find that in most other cases, the prices are the same or negligibly different as anywhere else.
It’s a very common trick a lot of big box discount stores use, Wal-Mart just does to greater advantage largely because of their reputation of being the cheapest.

      • As much as I hate agreeing with the conservatroll scum, and this guy is one of the worst, I have to say that in my 2 years with Wal-Mart I was treated far better than my current employer. And I feel ashamed to say that like millions of Americans, I’ve sold my soul to the Rollback.

      • I Like Peanut Butter with Bacon says:

Hey did you know that Wal-Mart isn’t a small business? No-one told me that. You know until I knew that fact I certainly wouldn’t have gotten this LOL. How DARE someone leave out such an important fact as that. HEY EVERYONE READ THIS FIRST!!! WAL-MART is NOT, I repeat NOT a small business, so this LOL is poking fun at the message. Ok got it… anyone?

        • jklinders says:

You need a bigger hammer to drive it home methinks. No wonder we can’t have funny LOLs here. Too many people lack the subtlety for good jokes.

Not as funny as the “Ignore Obama’s GREAT FAIL”… look over here at WalMart!”

      • Alverant says:

What “great fail” you mean like the massive terrorist attack we had, whoops that was under Duyba. Maybe you mean the unprovoked war he started to build up his ego, whoops that was under Duyba too. Illegal spying? Nope, that was W. Unregulated businesses running amok? W again, with the help of conservatives. No accountability? That was aWol again.

So apart from not cleaning up Dummy Duyba’s messes instantly is this “great fail” Obama caused?

  13. heh says:

Sooooooo………. WalMart is Obama’s excuse now?

Their higher prices are hurting the small businesses.

Besides, doesn’t anyone realize, without walmart, you’d have to go to 30 different stores just to get what you want.
    That sound fun to anybody?

    • ClariPossum says:

That depends. If you have a super Target in your area, it’s basically the same thing, only more expensive.

Unfortunately, there is no Target in my town, so to Wal Mart I go.

  16. I shop at Wal-Mart. And I hate myself for it.

    • Cosman246 says:

Hmph….I liked it, and I do not shop at Walmart, Conservatroll

      • zipper says:

Good for you, neither do I.

But that doesnt mean I think they dont have a right to do business successfully like that (and we have the right to prosecute them for any violations of various laws limiting them).

If you want to return to Trust Busting, Im for that but understand that Big Media would have to likewise fall under the same anti-monopoly actions (you cant pick and choose).

        • The problem with Walmart is, it’s not a monopoly. There are successful competitors, but they’re not nearly as successful as Walmart. However, Walmart has managed to run a number of smaller similar companies out of business. When I worked at Walmart, my manager had pictures on his wall of other smaller chains they ran out of town (Venture, Grandpa’s).
I don’t know how many laws Walmart actually breaks, but the issue is that a lot of their unethical practices are still legal.

          • slaggingham says:

Where I live, a Super-Walmart, a Target, and a K-Mart are all within walking distance of each other.

Don’t any of them seem to be hurting.

What’s really strange? All the main street stores of the nearby town that were closing down 20 years ago when I was a teenager? They’ve mostly re-opened since the MegaStores came, but now they’re specialty stores rather than general-type stores. The old mall is fine, too.

It’s weird… exactly the opposite of what all the Brian-from-”Family Guy”-types told us would happen.

This could probably be explained by someone who understands economics (meaning, not a Liberal.)

Don’t you get it. Big Business doesn’t create jobs, it leeches off society and doesn’t pay taxes or salaries or anything. Small Business is the best, once you franchise out though, you instantly become evil.

  24. Captain Derp says:

Sorry to disappoint you, but there’s no legitimate reason to impeach our president. He hasn’t done anything illegal. Nixon did something illegal; Clinton did something illegal; Bush did something illegal(the proof is out there–you just need to look for it).
It seems like the more a person’s ideology is wrong, the more immoral measures they’ll go to confirm or enforce it on others(e.g. lying, shouting down, etc).
