Seriously, why do you keep coming back? We know who you are, and nobody takes you seriously, so your bizarre obsession with hating everyone different from you can really just go away.
Funny, I could have sworn that our strategy in France was more about pushing further in from multiple fronts, working with French Resistance cells to gain information on Nazi positions and to carry out covert ops, dropping soldiers into combat zones to liberate strategic locations, and generally fighting on the ground than it was about just dropping a bunch of bombs over the countryside.
Not only are you correct, but the bombing strategy in France was deliberately “tactical” in that military sites, communications infrastructure and manufacturing infrastructure were deliberately targetted, but sites where a civilian population surrounded the target were avoided unless they were of sufficient value that one of the specialist precision bomber squadrons (such as RAF 617 “Dambusters” Squadron, who’s main problem was a tendancy to drop their 12_000lb and 22_000lb “Tallboy” and “Grand Slam” bombs into the same hole as each other) could be tasked.
Except all cities in Germany were obliterated, and weren’t we liberating the German people from the Nazis? What about our bombing in Africa (we weren’t so strategic there)? Don’t forget Holland, we certainly had some doozies there, especialy after Operation Market Garden.
I have to agree with PB here. There weren’t 2 sticks standing on top of one another in most German cities after the war. While necessary there was very little “surgical” about the WWII bombing campaign in Europe. Everyone suffered under it regardless of it’s necessity. What was done then would be called a war crime now.

Not always, but America has done things on the world stage that have come back to haunt them.
The US was only the 9th biggest supplier of weapons to Saddam Hussein.
Germany, France, China, Brazil, the USSR and a few others were bigger suppliers.
Yet the US is the only country blamed for it, including by pretentious, excruciatingly hypocritical Eurotrash like you.
…and what was the American army of liberation doing when that happened? Must have been something really important if it took them 15 years to react.

No it isn’t; the M109-A6 “Paladin” has the same turret as the other M109 variants. It’s also not a XM2001 Crusader, an AS-90 or a Ph-2000!
I was going to say it was a Sheridan, but it can’t be because a. The Sheridan has been shelved, and b. It had a proper turret as well.
I worked on this vehicle. This is the Increment 0 NLOS Cannon. Part of the now defunct Future Combat System (FCS). It’s a hybrid (seriously) that runs on deisel and a 600V Lion battery pack. Great for the environment…..until you blow up said environment.
