   Where does the idea that Putin has anything to do with socialism come from?
   After 1990 Russia turned into a super capitalist olgarchy state. (Not that is was much of a communist country before, but that’s another discussion). Anyway, he’s definitely capitalist. And so is Berlusconi.

     Putin’s capitalist now, but he used to be a KGB officer and expresses no regrets for it. I’d call that at least slightly socialist-leaning.
