  1. It is funny. But it does need some democratic candidates too.

    • bolero The Darth Decent says:

There can only be ONE Highlander this year. The President is running, so there won’t be primaries to sort through everyone who wants to run and find the person their party thinks will win against the Obama.

      • bolero The Darth Decent says:

        That was at Kiwi.

      • Geary says:

Although, according the the Iowa Straw Poll, the Republicans aren’t voting for the candidates who are most likely to win the General, just the ones that are most likely to win the Tea Party vote. One has to consider that it’s impossible to win an election without the Moderate Vote, and candidates like Michele Backman and Rick Perry/Parry would never be able to obtain that vote.

        • Boris says:

Remember that a couple of the candidates chose not to take part in the Straw Pole, so it’s effectively useless as a predictive device.

        • Boris says:

Remember that a couple of the candidates chose not to take part in the Straw Pole, so it’s effectively useless as a predictive device. Comment supposed to go *here* not by itself…

        • Whatever says:

That’s what they said last time. So the Republicans listened to the Democrats and picked McCain, about as moderate of a Republican as you can get. Didn’t help. This time I hope that the Republicans don’t let the Democrats tell them who to pick again.

    • PapushiSun says:

Barack Obama as chief Wiggum, maybe? “As Global Markets Crash, Obama Goes on Vacation” http://www.zerohedge.com/news/global-markets-crash-obama-goes-vacation

      • Sarge says:

Oh, sure. Criticize Obama for taking a vacation, but not the congress for leaving tons of important business unfinished when they took their vacation, to say nothing of all the vacations Bush was constantly taking. You know, Bush was on vacation virtually his whole dam presidency, but I didn’t see you teabagger idiots slagging him for it back then.

        • PapushiSun says:

Not a teabagger, not even American.

        • sillywabbit says:

1). Bush was not on vacation his whole term.
2). Loads of people are super-mega p!ssed at Congress for leaving in the middle of the debt crisis.
3). The Tea-Party didn’t exist when Bush was president.
4). Quit using Bush as a red-herring. Everyone has to realize that Bush left 2 years ago. Our failures at this point are our own; they have nothing to do with the administration from years past.

          • Arty says:

Vote ‘em all out. Every last one of them.

          • Nailin Palin says:

Bush created the mess that Obama is trying to work the country out of.

          • Beren082 says:

            1) Not his whole term, just 75% of it

            2) Then why not express that, and get onto the people that actually hold the responsibility of controlling the budget?

            3) The people that constitute the tea party were not born the day Obama was inaugurated. They are overwhelmingly old white republicans, all of whom said not a damn word about Bush’s numerous crimes and fiscal irresponsibility during his term.

            4) False. 2 wars – Bush, Tax cuts for the top 2% of income earners – Bush, Eviscerated education system – Bush, Bank deregulation – Bush, Loss of diplomatic standing on the world stage – Bush. All of these things (and more) have lasting effects, and thanks to republican obstructionism, Obama’s repeated attempts to reverse those effects have invariably come to naught. If it were not for the Bush administration, we would not be in the situation we’re in now, and the national deficit most certainly wouldn’t be 100% of our GDP.

        • Geary says:

Well, that might be due to the movement forming in 2009/2010

    • mnh says:

I don’t know, this actually made me feel a little better about Romney. I mean, at least he isn’t Rick Perry.

    • kake79 says:

Problem is, there are no democratic candidates. President Obama is the presumptive nominee. I guess we could make one for him. Hmm… what Simpson’s character is President Obama? Mayor Quimby? Martin Prince? Principal Skinner? Judge Snyder?

  2. Liberty says:

hahaha Pizza dude doesn’t like being called names. He has no back bone. Pathetic. Delete my comments more!!!

Doesn’t make you any smarter or funnier.

  3. GERBLES says:

If people do nothing but complain about all the candidates, how come they aren’t mentioning who they want? I get sick of this Red/Blue bull****. It’s thick wool over your eyes…

    • Clueless the amazing dictator of PK says:

I would like to see constructive suggestions on most topics. People are good at complaining but it is much more difficult to see real solutions.

    • Liberty says:

      Who I want.

‎1) Understands the Constitution and defends its intent – ALL of it
      a) states rights
      b) 2nd amendment is to arm its citizens against tyrannical Govt
      c) etc etc etc
      2) Defends the principles of Liberty
      3) Honesty/Integrity
      4) Humble yet stalwart
      5) WILL clean out WA of lobbyists/special interest
      6) Honorable in all things
      7) Will Challenge the constitutionality of ALL things that are currently in place that are NOT constitutional
      8) Will ask our troops to fight to win, or get out. No more sissy crap, and no more special interest wars!
      9) Values Life more than $$ – understands that if a spec of a molecule = LIFE ON MARS then a growing embryo IS LIFE.
      10) Morals – (at least follows the 10 commandments if Christian)

      • formeraide says:

#1 apparently leaves out Rick Perry who wants to drop Article III of the original document.

#5 leaves out – everybody, unfortunately. Without massive campaign spending reform, that’s not gonna happen.

      • Vincent says:

1 & 7) Why such a worship of the constitution?? Its writers were no angels, and their values and original intent are out of date 10 times over. Modern values needed!
Besides, challenging unconstitutionnal rules in front of a supreme court that is basically a political lobby of its own is ridiculous.
I say the Constit needs a good dusting, starting with a really neutral supreme court.

        9) As for being “pro-life as soon as there is brain activity”, then you have to be a vegetarian too, if you wanna be coherent. I doubt the level of conscience of 12 weeks embryo surpasses that of a cow.

        10) Well, the ten commandments do include many commandments about swearing the name of the lord, making pictures of heaven, having other gods…Those are not really values.

Besides, do not covet your neighbour’s wife is really just private business. Politicians sex life should be of no interest, no matter how strange or perverted, so long as they are no offenders. How someone lives his life is one thing, how he does his job is another.

        • Liberty says:

I do give reverence to the US constitution. Don’t know if I’d go so far as to say worship – so be it.

How is equality and small government out of date?
Why would you make a claim that such things can become “out of date” ??

          9) Pro-Life is understood to be human life. Discussion on treatment of Animals etc is an entirely seperate conversation. From which vantage point to you view this issue? Atheistic? Religious? Objectivism?

          10) I did say “most”. And I disagree with you. Honor is honor. What a politician does in their private life in regards to dishonoring their marital vows (or that of other people) is a compass on their character. If they don’t believe in fidelity, they ought to declare such. Coveting isn’t just about women. Its all material things as well. Politicians would MUCH better serve their country if the forgot about material wealth.

        • itsybit says:

“Its writers were no angels, and their values and original intent are out of date 10 times over. ”

Who is an angel? Anyone you know? Don’t fix what ain’t broke!! We need to continue to try and live up to it, not change it.

  4. Mcsticken says:

They misspelled “Rick Parry”, am I right? =P

  5. Lil Jon says:

    The simpsons are a cartoon

  6. Anonymous Bosch says:

Don’t blame me, I’m voting for Kodos.
