A truck containing presidential communications equipment, including President Obama’s teleprompter, was stolen from Richmond, Virginia today. The truck contained no classified information, and all $200,000 dollars worth of property were later recovered.
Fox News and The Daily Mail reported on the event, employing slang used in the conservative blogosphere such as TOTUS (Teleprompter of the United States), with a “subtle” dig implying that the president is rarely seem without a teleprompter.
Right. Because Barack Obama is the only politician who has ever used one…
