RIP Andrew Breitbart

Popular conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart died suddenly this morning of natural causes. Breitbart is credited with posting the sexually explicit photos of former congressman Anthony Weiner, which eventually lead to the representative’s resignation. He was also a regular contributor to Fox News, and a strong proponent of the Tea Party movement. He was 43 years old.

Kim Jong-Il Dead at 69

North Korea has just reported that Supreme Leader Kim Jong-Il died of of a heart attack on Saturday. His son Kim Jong-Un is expected to assume control of government. Kim Jong-Il had ruled North Korea since 1993.
… 2011 was not a good year for dictators.
UPDATE: Here is a news anchor tearfully reporting on his death from North Korean state TV.

Reddit has uncovered that a 1987 Fox sitcom called “Second Chance” accurately foretold that Moammar Gadhafi would die in the year 2011. In this video, the words “July 29, 2011″ appear on the screen before a scene involving Gadhafi facing divine judgement in the form of spending eternity strapped to a bomb which repeatedly explodes. You’ll either cringe at the terribly un-PC impression of Gadhafi or at the fact that this show also inadvertently predicted the rise of suicide bombing. But either way, you’ll cringe.
Moammar Gadhafi Reported Dead

The Libyan government is reporting that former dictator Moammar Gadhafi has been killed while fighting near his hometown of Sirte. Gadhafi ruled Libya for 41 years, from 1969 until 2011 when he was ousted in a civil war.
