After failing to win the support of parliament for routine budget cuts, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has agreed to step down after a series of economic reforms meant to help Italy’s debt woes are passed. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the country’s wealthiest man and most notorious playboy is down for the count indefinitely. But for the time being it would seem that not even his charm and knack for survival can save him in these desperate financial times.
