Liberal MP Justin Trudeau (above) called Federal Environment Minister Peter Kent a “piece of s**t” during a parliamentary session yesterday after heated questioning over Canada’s recent withdrawal from the Kyoto Protocal.

OK, I’m not going to pretend to know that much about Canadian politics, but I do know Canadians are supposed to be nice. However, from this I have learned that they aren’t necessarily nice to each other. And you know what? I still like ‘em! Such fiesty and delightful neighbors.

South Korean opposition leader Kim Seon-dong set off a canister of tear gas during parliament to protest the overwhelming ratification of a controversial trade agreement with the United States. This pact will be the largest free-trade agreement for the United States since the North American Free Trade Agreement in 1994. South Korean lawmakers fought hard to prevent its passing, as they believe it ultimately favors US workers.

Ukrainian parliament First Vice-Speaker Adam Martynyuk moves in to choke deputy Oleg Lyashko after Lyashko allegedly called him a name. Martynyuk is not messing around as he goes straight for his throat. How does the old saying go? “Sticks and stones may break my bones but names throw me into a bloodthirsty rage…?”
