Both British Airways and former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown (above right) are being criticized for downgrading the seats of six passengers, including a Red Cross doctor and a pregnant lady, on a flight from Abu-Dhabi to London. Passengers were told they had to move to a lower class due to an “overbooking problem,” and became infuriated when they saw the former head of state and five aides board to occupy their seats. The pregnant woman was so upset that she approached Brown and snapped a cell phone photo, prompting an angry outburst from his aide (pictured left). British Airways denies the passengers were bumped because of Brown.
