In an interview with Rolling Stone, Justin Bieber dropped some choice quotes about things like American health care vs. Canadian health care and abortion.

Nugget 1:

“Canada’s the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don’t need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you’re broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard’s baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby’s premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home.”

Nugget 2:

“I really don’t believe in abortion. It’s like killing a baby?”

Nugget 3, on abortion in cases of rape:

“Um. Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”

Nugget 4, on politics in general:

“I’m not sure about the parties. But whatever they have in Korea, that’s bad.”

Where to begin with this golden-egg-laying goose?

1) Wow, J.Biebs… Rape “happens for a reason?” That message, while not quite as upbeat as the theme of “Never Say Never,” is truly inspiring and well thought out.

2) Major props to Rolling Stone for posing complex moral and political questions to a kid not even old enough to vote! TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE JOURNALISM!

3) Why would anyone in the world care about Justin Bieber’s social or political beliefs to begin with? Have we learned nothing from Sharon Stone and Richard Gere? We should never turn to celebrities in times of political uncertainty!

4) Regardless of The Biebs’ political views, he really stepped over the line when he dissed Lady Gaga’s fashion choices.

5) NORTH KOREA BAD!

6) I’ve always felt this site could use more Blingee. REJOICE!
